All points of the Compass Invitational
Greetings Cattail Creek Tennis Family!
Thank you for your amazing support of our tennis program!
From May 14-May 16 we will be hosting our first annual All Points of the Compass Invitational!
This incredible event provides a great balance of competition and camaraderie and is one you do NOT want to miss.
What is an ALL POINTS OF THE COMPASS INVITATIONAL? Well, in recognition of this being an inaugural event at Cattail Creek, see below for everything you need to know about the event.
* The ALL POINTS OF THE COMPASS INVITATIONAL is a Member +1 event that consists of 2 days of doubles competition in a compass draw format. We kick off the event with the Friday Evening Draw Party, a fun social get together.
* A compass draw is a competitive bracketed format that guarantees every team a set minimum number of matches regardless of previous outcome. For a more detailed explanation on the mechanics of a compass draw please click on the link below.

* To guarantee each team will have 5 matches, we will need a minimum of 32 teams in each bracket.
* This event can be as competitive or as social as you want it to be. You are free to choose anyone as your partner provided they are over 21 and of the same gender.
* Don't have a partner but would like to be part of the event? The tennis staff can assist you in finding a partner, but please give as much advance notice as possible.
SIGNING UP IS EASY...
1. Go to the Club Calendar and click on the event to register. Be sure to register your guest on your Cattail registration, if he/she is not a Cattail Member.
2. We will be using the Universal Tennis Rating System (UTR) to create the draws, so you will need to have a UTR profile to register for the draw. Go to the UTR website https://www.myutr.com/ and sign up for your FREE UTR profile.
3. If our "+1" is not a member, invite them to sign up for their FREE UTR profile account as well. Your "+1" will not need to register for the event on UTR, they just need to have a UTR profile.
4. Once you have your UTR account, search for the CATTAIL CREEK COUNTRY CLUB digital page and request to join. You can also join by clicking here https://app.myutr.com/clubs/421610. This is where you will find all Cattail Creek Tennis Tournaments and Events where we will be using UTR to assist with draws etc...
5. Once you have joined, click on the All Points of the Compass Invitational and register for the draw.
The cost of the event is $125.00 pp ++ and includes heavy appetizers at the draw party, a light continental breakfast both days of the event and a Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday morning.
When you register for the draw on UTR, you will see the cost listed as "FREE."
This is because the $125++ event fee for yourself and your guest will be billed directly to your Cattail Member Account and not through UTR.
