Shaler Area Girls Flag Football This is the official page of the Shaler Area High School Flag Football (SAFF) team. The team is under the direction of coaches Rob Heinrich and Mike Querio.

SAFF competes in the Pittsburgh, PA region and is the current WPIAL Division 1 champion.

As we wrap up our regular season, we realize we have so much to be thankful for… an undefeated season and a championship win… no new major injuries… the creation of “The 8th man”… and a well deserved Coach of the Year!!!

Yesterday, a new tradition was started… the passing down of a signed football by retiring captains as the new captains were named. Retiring captains- Paige Querio, Zoey Cieslak, Lex Claycomb, Emily Thomas, and Caroline Decheck- passed the torch to our new leaders: Lilly Trgovic and Chloe Grimes. We have no doubt that these Titans are ready, willing, and able to lead the team into the new season. Good luck and best wishes!
