As we work hard to gear up to start our recruiting process for our first season next fall. We are blessed to introduce to you our new Director of Recruiting/Post-grad Advisor, Paul Funches III ( ). He brings a great wealth of knowledge and passion to SWDFA. Our mission and vision aligns well with his passion making this a perfect fit. His statement -

“I am extremely excited to join the SWDFA. As a believer in Christ and a football coach, it is my call to help develop young men into becoming the best version of themselves. Those values are what this league is all about. No scams, no shady business practices, just space and opportunity for young men to develop and play the game they love. I will do everything I can to ensure our athletes get an elite post-grad experience and can build relationships and memories that will last forever.”

Our program is designed for 17 - 20 year olds. We are creating teams for kids to get a second chance at an opportunity to get into a university football program. We will help with coaching, practice, game days and film to get you where you need to be on the field.

Off the field, we require our athletes to enroll a certificate program for accounting and/or communication. We don’t just care about your future on the field. We also care about your future off the field.

Southwest Developmental Football Association Inc. is proud to announce their partnership with Apex Collision Center. The football organization has teamed up with the reputable auto body shop to provide support for our athletes. Apex Collision Center will be offering special rates to paint helmets for every athlete registered with Southwest Developmental Football Association Inc. This partnership aims to promote teamwork and collaboration both on and off the field. Southwest Developmental Football Association Inc. is excited to work with Apex Collision Center and looks forward to a successful partnership.
