The World Lacrosse community mourns the tragic loss of Australian player Callum Robinson, his brother Jake and friend Jack Rhoad, and we extend our deepest condolences to their families and friends. May they rest in peace.

"We are all so thankful that he was a part of our lives," his former coach, Paul Cantabene, said in the statement. "He lived an extraordinary life, but what is most impressive about Callum is what a loyal friend he was. Once you were his friend, you were friends for life." (BBC)

New Year, new season, new team, new players. We're all in the same boat. We can't all have the perfect recruiting class. Most of us "got what we got". So we give them our best. Coach your players to the best of THEIR abilities every day.

Start where you are, use the players that you have. Get to know your athletes. Reassess your goals.

Progress before performance.
Relationships before Championships.
FUN before everything else.
