This buck is in this field most nights. He's usually by himself and runs off smaller bucks. (Most bucks are in bachelor groups right now so this is unusual). He would surely investigate a decoy to see who the new guy is. If you've got a similar situation consider a decoy to help seal the deal.

Bachelor group giant!

If you've got this on one your trail cameras, consider a decoy opening week. These Bachelor groups are very curious about "the new guy". They'll readily decoy but its not an aggressive response. A Tail-Wagger helps seal the deal as they will come in slow and they need to believe its a real deer. That tail movement matters.
