How a back injury left me feeling hopeless ⬇️

In high school I finished my senior year as a rugby athlete. Loved it so much I carried it into college, but in a MENS league (ages 18-45).

Let me tell you I got my s**t 🪨’d

After a month or so in, I was waking up with crippling back pain. Seriously couldn’t even get out of bed.

I thought this was gonna be the end of my fitness journey. How was I going to continue being active with this much pain?

When I started researching and rehabbing myself, my goal wasn’t to avoid injury..

But instead it was finding a way to get back to my peak performance 🙌🏽

Working out became a way for me to move pain free, and feel confident in my abilities again.

I didn’t avoid movement out of fear of re-injury. Because I knew that’s exactly what would set me farther away from my goals…a long active life!

If you are dealing with nagging pain or old injuries… take it from me, the solution is not to STOP movement.

Instead it should be how to train in a way to get you back to lifting heavy and moving pain free 🧡

My members in their 30s are hitting milestones they didn’t think were possible in their 20s.

is 34, full time job, busy life, still traveling with friends and family, but in 2023, she felt stuck.

Gaining weight. Losing strength. No real direction in the gym.

And most people would blame age. But that wasn’t the problem.

The problem was… she didn’t have a plan built for HER.

So we changed that. We met her where she was at… focused on movement quality, tempo, and progressive overload.

No ego lifting. No guessing. Just consistent, structured progression.

Now? She’s squatting 135 like it’s light work. Deadlifting with zero back pain. Confident trying new movements… even posting her progress regularly on socials!

And the best part? Her progress is inspiring her friends and family to start taking back charge of their health too.

The best workout program for you…starts with YOUR body.

Not someone else’s baseline.

Because copying what worked for someone else, is exactly why you’re stuck.

Imagine this..you downloaded the program…You followed it exactly…And now your knees hurt, your shoulder’s pinched, and your results? Meh.

Here’s the truth nobody tells you, Basic programs are built for the general population. Not your body that has a history of injuries and imbalances.

The best program isn’t the most advanced one. It’s the one built around: How YOU move, What YOU can tolerate, and What YOUR body actually needs.

If a program doesn’t adjust to you…it’s not a good program. Period.

Stop forcing your body into someone else’s plan…

If you go to the gym but aren’t seeing results, this is for you ⬇️

You’re not lazy.
You’re not inconsistent.

It’s because of these 4 things:

1. You’re showing up, but doing random workouts

👉 So your body has nothing consistent to adapt to

Fix: lock in 4–6 core lifts and track them weekly. Progress comes from repeating and improving, not switching things up

2. You’re either pushing through pain… or avoiding movements altogether

👉 One leads to injury, the other leads to stagnation

Fix: Instead, regress the movement , adjust range, load, or tempo so you can train safely

3. You’re using the same weights because you don’t trust your body

👉 That hesitation is a setup issue, not a strength issue

Fix: slow your reps down, control every position, and build confidence before increasing the weight

4. You don’t have a system that ensures progression

👉 So even though you’re putting in effort… nothing changes

Fix: instead, follow a structured program where your only goal is to add weight each week

Do this right, and you’ll finally start building strength again, without feeling like you’re risking injury.
