As a coach, I couldn’t be more thankful for the 5 kids that wanted to stick together and keep playing ball through the summer. This weekend wasn’t easy — these girls pushed through big emotions, adversity, awkward moments, and even some crazy weather.

The record may say 0-4, but what I saw was a team that competed every inning, stayed together, and most importantly had fun doing it. That’s something to be proud of.

Thank you to the girls who stayed and the ones who stepped in and played with us this weekend. We appreciate every one of you.

Next up, we head to Elizabethtown for the USSSA State Series – 5th Annual Diamond Queens on May 23–24.

Then we roll right into Owensboro for the USSSA Queen of the Diamonds on June 6–7.
