Tonight was a mental struggle. Carry issues, followed by a severe instant change in reaction. Super wet/dry by the end of game 3. And two missed 10 pins cemented my first series under 600 of the year.

Catch up time:
Last Tuesday I started my season at Maple & Pine Lanes and Sports Bar on the Tj Samson Mixed League. 2 good games to start, then missed the transition in game 3.

Thursday night was the first night of the Sportman’s League at Town and Country Lanes. Air Conditioning was out, so the lanes dried up super quick (especially with 5 man teams). Still shot a decent set.

Last night was back to Ralphie's Fun Center for Week 2 of the Monday Mix league. Every open I have had on this league so far has been a split, and all 6 games have been over 200.

Hopefully, I will update more frequently and bowl better as well.

Started the 2022-2023 League season last night on lanes 7-8 at Ralphie's Fun Center. Lanes played somewhat different. Ended up using Forge Fire on lane 7 and Venom Shock on lane 8. This shot wasn’t the best of the night, but it was the final shot of the night and I hadn’t gotten anything else recorded.

Proud to announce that I will be participating in the 2022 Bradley Open Bowling Tournament at Executive Strike & Spare on February 12th and 13th. The event will be streamed on YouTube by BowlStreamTV.

Bowled 4 leagues this week in 3 different centers and I must say I am pretty happy with my results. 793 Sunday on Anytimers at Highlander Bowl, 696 on Monday Mix at Southern Lanes, 703 Tuesday on Industrial League at Highlander, and 667 Thursday in my first ever series at Town and Country Lanes in Burkesville. 238.25 average for the 12 games, 99 strikes, 31 spares (including 21/21 on single pins [15/15 on 10 pins]), and only 8 missed spares (6 of which were splits). Only scheduled to bowl Sunday on Anytimers and Thursday in Burkesville this week.

So, a day after bowling on a PBA pattern, I returned back to Highlander Bowl - Official for the Anytimers League. Started the set with my 8th 300 game at Highlander and my 15th certified perfect game overall.

Bowled in the PBA Boss Snow Plows/O’Brien Auto Central Open today at Pinheads Entertainment Center in Fishers, Indiana. Crossed with EJ Tackett, Charlie Brown, Jr. and Charles Rott. Some great bowling all around, including a 300 by EJ in game 1 and Kyle Bigelow in game 5. Just too many easy spares not converted. Finished 17th out of a field of 46, 22 pins out of the money (Top 15) and 77 pins off the cut line (Top 12). Thanks to my wife Susan for coming with me.

It’s been a while since I have posted any scores here, but tonight was a night I can truly say I am proud of how I bowled. 17 for 17 on spares, including 14 for 14 on single pins. Actually dropped my average tonight, from 232.45 to 232.33, but I am happy with 40 clean frames.
