Three more leagues this week after the 768 on Tuesday Night... Anytimers on Thursday, No-Tap on Friday, and Sunday Mix on, well Sunday.
Anytimers has been the league I have struggled on the most so far this season. After a 5th Frame 10-pin was the only non-strike in Game 1, a 4-9 split in Game 2 ended my clean series bid. Then, Game 3. Two Greek Churches gave me a sub-200 game, but the 524 start still allowed me to shoot a 713 series, boosting my average to 224.67.
On the No-Tap league, I started with a 300, with 8 “Real” strikes, then a pair of 245 games, including the third game where I started with the front 8, then left the same 4-9, Greek Church combo that I did the day before on Anytimers. The 790 series on the No-Tap decreased my average slightly to 268.
On the Sunday Mix League, I must have thought I was still bowling No-Tap, as the only spares I left were 11 single pins. I made 10 of them, missing only a 10-pin in the 10th frame of Game 2. My 701 series was the lowest I have shot so far in the 4 weeks of the league, and dropped my average to 243.25.
Still very happy with my performance this winter, and hopefully will do better at making adjustments before disaster “strikes.”
NOTE: I do not input my No-Tap League into Pinpal as to not skew my strike and spare percentage numbers.
