Sunday 8/16 Reports

Trip #1 Travis and I had the Flashy Sporty in the water and ready to roll in record time... Walnut was a ghost town! I think a lot of guys missed some great fishing because they listened to the weather man instead of looking at the lake. Of course our crew was running 40 minutes late but you can't win em all 🤣

Once Anthony and his boys made it to the dock it was game on. We headed Northeast into some 2 foot rollers out to the walleye grounds. We fished the mid to high 70's from East to West. While the bite was slower than it has been, we still boxed a full limit of great fish and returned to the dock shortly after 11AM. 💪

FishUSA stealthcore 5 color rods with Bomber 24's and 3.5 Yozuri minnows picked away on the boards. I did start off with 200 coppers on one side, but soon found that the deeper marks weren't active. After pulling about 10 🐑 we went back to old faithfull. Divers did well pulling Pakrat Harnesses Flies Spoons with copper Coldsore and the short silver BAM being the best 2. Inside divers 90 to 110, outside divers 130 to 150. Downriggers did well at 40 and 45 as well.

Trip #2 kicked off the dock as soon as we finished up at the cleaning station. The wind had picked up from the west giving us a nice 1' chop (no bugs 🪰). We pointed the bow northwest and ran back out to our morning line to fish it the opposite direction. The walleye were right where we left them and it was game on. Dave, Bud, and Jim did great on the rods boxing another solid limit. Same program as the morning with the addition of a Reno Rocker taking great fish on a diver.

Weekend Report 7/31 - 8/2

Fishing is on fire! We ran 3 great trips over the weekend and sent a lot of walleye fillets to good homes / frying pans 😋 75 feet of water on a North troll was our best depth all 3 days. The fish have moved deeper in the water column so Bomber 24's and 3.5" Yozuris worked very well on our FishUSA 5 color stealthcore rods. Divers with Pakrat spoons worked well at 100 to 125 on a #1 and 145 to 165 on a #2. Our downriggers were parked between 50 and 65 feet with the better fish coming down in the colder water.

UPDATE : WALK ON TRIP IS BOOKED (except one spot I am saving for a nurse waiting on her schedule) OK... due to popular demand we have decided to offer another walk on trip! The last one was a great trip with lots of fun. Friday July 31st 4PM at Walnut Creek Marina. Cost will be $125 / person. Fish cleaning included. Plus mate's tip. Weekend Report - 6/13 & 6/14

Fishing has been very good and there are walleyes being caught from 30 feet out to the trench. We fished 65 to 75 foot of water both Saturday and Sunday. The program was the same both days. 5 colors of FishUSA Pro Shop stealthcore on the boards lines pulling Bomber 24's and 3.5" Yozuris did most of the work. Outside divers 150 to 180 and downriggers 45 to 60 down also pulled good fish. Pakrat Harnesses Flies Spoons Cold Sore and Black Trash were the top spoons... again. Speed was 2.0 to 2.2.
