We are going to be set up in front of the Gilmer High School for registration selling pulled pork sandwich plates on Tuesday , July 28th! Only $10!!! All proceeds go towards our BBQ club for this upcoming year's competitions. Even if you aren't registering a student, you can still come up and get lunch/dinner and support a good cause!!!!

Gilmer friends, I am looking for somewhere to host a year of the school year gathering for my BBQ kids and their families. I am wanting to do a fish fry. I just need the location... Does anyone have any leads??

Last turn in for the day! Pork shoulder for the win!

Charlee Dunn, first time EVER!!, smoked a pork shoulder using Dijon mustard as a binder and Creole with Garlic Powder slowly smoked in our new drum smokers.

Jaxton Applegate smoked a pork shoulder using a yellow mustard for a binder andHoney Hog Seasoning using a Vinegar BBQ Sauce for last minute glaze on his money muscle.

Fifth turn in for today! St. Louis Spare Ribs at 4:00PM!!

Sam Amburn turned in her ribs that were injected with Apple Juice and then seasoned and glazed with a homemade sauce that consists of Bourbon Apple BBQ sauce, Apple Butter and Cinnamon. Each bite reminds you of a sweet Texas dessert matched with a love for Texas BBQ!

Paxton Casson turned in his ribs that were injected with a Pineapple Mango juice and seasoned with his Mom's secret seasoning and homemade Caribbean Jerk glaze. This mixture combines cultures and flavors that are night and day difference!!

Fourth Turn in for today at 2:30PM is Chicken Lollipops.

Sam Amburn turned in her chicken lollipops, seasoned with a house made rub featuring flavors of a peppery apple, glazed in a homemade Applesauce Cholula Glaze.

Crockett Tefteller and Paxton Casson teamed up for another road of teamwork with their chicken lollipops. They used a Woodfired Garlic and a Raspberry Chipotle Glaze, all grilled on an open grill using Cherry wood.

The time and attention to detail for trimming and preparing each individual leg requires patience and perseverance! Keep cheering them on while they represent the Gilmer Buckeyes!!!
