Yesterday, the Smith family suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of their sweet baby boy, Hunter. As a small town community, we share in their heartbreak and hold them close in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Gibbstown Flag Football League and the entire Gibbstown community stand together in support of the Smith family, praying for healing, strength, comfort, and guidance as they navigate the days ahead. Get ready for an exciting fall season of fun, fitness, and teamwork!

Our Co-Ed Flag Football Program is designed for boys and girls ages 5–14 of all skill levels—from beginners learning the basics to experienced players looking to sharpen their game.

This non-contact league focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and building confidence in a positive and supportive environment. Players will learn fundamental football skills such as passing, catching, route running, and defensive positioning, all while enjoying the fast-paced action of the game.

Participants will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure balanced competition and a fun experience for everyone. Each week includes a combination of practice and game play, giving athletes the chance to improve while putting their skills into action.

Whether your child is new to football or already loves the game, this program is a great way to stay active, make friends, and enjoy the fall season on the field. Join us and be part of a fun, energetic football community!

Welcome to the team Mike Mendenhall!

Mike Mendenhall returns to his hometown of Gibbstown, where his love for football started. Coach Mendenhall brings 20 years of Division I coaching experience.

Mendenhall most recently served as Special Teams Coordinator and Linebackers Coach at Princeton University, where he helped lead the Tigers to multiple Ivy League Championships and coached numerous All-Ivy League players. His coaching journey started at Paulsboro High School before entering the college ranks, including championship success at North Carolina Central University and the linebackers coach at the University of New Mexico.

A former two sport standout in wrestling and football at Paulsboro High School. Inducted into the Paulsboro Athletics and South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Famed. A former Temple University All Big East selection and professional player with the Chicago Bears and Berlin Thunder, Mendenhall has built a career at the highest levels of the game—both on the field and on the sidelines.
