ROSTER OPPORTUNITY

As we head into the upcoming season, we’ve had a few unexpected roster changes and are now looking to add 2–3 utility players to round out our lineup.

This is a great opportunity for athletes who are ready to compete, stay flexible, and contribute in multiple positions. We’re a team built on effort, attitude, and development—and we’re looking for players who bring energy, coachability, and a team-first mindset.

What we’re looking for:

Ability to play multiple positions (or willingness to learn)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Commitment to team practices, games, and development

Season is right around the corner, so we’re moving quickly to finalize our roster.

Competitive Softball Program in Gering, NE

If you are a local contractor interested in helping us design and scope a batting cage facility in or around Oregon Trail Park, please send an email [email protected].

We are in the early phases of determining costs, and pursuing funding to have this built in the park, which will be made available for GGSA Western Nebraska Fury Fastpitch, GO Baseball and Gering Public Schools, as well as hosted baseball and softball travel tournaments in the area.

We are looking into two options, a fully enclosed, and one with a roof only, with four 15x65 foot lanes that can be used for hitting and pitching.

Gering Girls Softball is now an officially classified 501c(3) organization, which opens the door to many more funding opportunities, sponsorships and tax-deductible donations.
