𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭...

As a mom and minister, it can feel like you’re constantly being pulled in a hundred different directions. Between caring for your family, serving others, and trying to meet everyone’s needs, it’s easy to lose sight of yourself and what truly matters—being in alignment with who God created you to be.

But what if finding peace isn’t about doing more, but about being more aligned with your true self? Not the version of you that’s always “on,” but the one who feels connected to God, grounded, and present.

Alignment isn’t about having it all together. It’s about making room to listen to that still, small voice within you that says, “This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21, NIV). When was the last time you paused and truly listened? Not to what others need or expect from you, but to His instructions to you?

As mothers and ministers, we often give from a place of depletion, thinking that’s what it means to be faithful. But what if God wants us to give from a place of fullness? What if He’s calling us to manage our resources—our time, energy, and gifts—more wisely so that we serve with joy, not exhaustion?

Ask yourself: What do I truly desire in this season? What do I need to release to make room for what God is doing in my life? Where have I been saying “yes” out of obligation instead of alignment?

Getting back into alignment doesn’t mean adding more to your plate. It means clearing away what doesn’t serve your highest purpose. It means being intentional with your “yes” and courageous with your “no.” It’s about realizing that sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is reflect, rest and put in the work you've been avoiding.

Imagine the freedom of serving not from a place of “should” but from a place of “called.” Imagine being so aligned with God’s purpose for you that there truly is overflow.

Take a moment to check in with your Creator. Reflect on what feels aligned, what feels out of place, and where you need to make adjustments. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Refill, refocus, and realign so you can serve your family and ministry from a place of love and wholeness.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝. 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤.

The Israelites had escaped slavery in Egypt, crossed the Red Sea, and were on their way to the Promised Land. God had miraculously provided for them at every turn—manna from heaven, water from a rock, and guidance through a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. Yet, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.

𝐖𝐡𝐲?

It wasn’t because God hadn’t given them a plan or because they weren’t praying enough. The problem wasn’t the provision or preparation; it was their perception.

Even after seeing God’s miracles, they struggled to perceive His purpose. When they saw giants in the Promised Land, they couldn’t see the God who had already defeated the giants of Egypt. Their minds were still stuck in a slave mentality, and they couldn't perceive themselves as the conquerors God had called them to be. They saw lack instead of abundance, barriers instead of breakthroughs. Their perception kept them wandering.

You might be feeling stuck in your own wilderness season, questioning why things aren't moving forward despite your prayers and preparations. It’s not that you lack the faith or the effort; it’s that you might be missing the bigger picture—God's perspective.

𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩 43:19 (𝘕𝘐𝘝) 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘶𝘴: "𝘚𝘦𝘦, 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨! 𝘕𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘶𝘱; 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵? 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥."

God is doing something NEW in your life, even if you don’t see it right now. The question is, are you perceiving it? Are you stuck seeing the giants in front of you instead of the power within you? God wants to change your circumstances, but first, He needs to change your perspective.

To move forward, you must perceive that things are aligning in your favor, that your efforts matter. You must open your mind, move with faith, and believe that God is already at work—creating new connections, new opportunities, and new beginnings.

You must start to SEE YOU as your solution. God can and is able to change your money, your marriage, your life as a mother or minister, but all these changes come after you allow Him to change your MIND first. The change in your life starts with the change in your mind.

So, open your eyes to see the new thing God is doing through you.

You’re not stuck, you just need to see how God through you, is the way out!

Dane turns 3 in about a little over a month and I could write a book about this kind, thoughtful, prophetic and loving praying son.🥰 I mean he will walk up to me and just say “mommy I love you”, or he wants to give me a kiss. If my hair is done or I cook something new he’s the first to say, “mommy, I like it! It’s good.” He gets rough with his sister sometimes, won’t go to bed on time and I mean lol still does act like a 2 year old but man I always said I don’t have terrible twos I have terrific twos with my kids and it’s truly been a blessing to experience.

I’m sharing this to encourage moms, specifically those with boys today that we are raising the next powerful, kind, leaders men who will be husbands, fathers, doctors etc. We have such a responsibility to NOT believe the lies of what society tries to permeate about men being worthless or good for nothing, men are all abusers and cheaters and liars. What we pour into our men is who they become, and we can’t pour TRUTH from broken beliefs.

Notice, I said beliefs not experiences, your experience with a man isn’t the entirety of truth about ALL men. Some feminine movements push the narrative that men are not necessary or matter, but who will our daughters marry if that’s what we preach and speak?? I am raising kingdom leaders, men who pray, who are responsible, who even in failures and faults can still be held accountable, it will never be perfect, it is hard but I will NOT believe the lies that men are not worthy, strong, necessary and powerful TOO.

All my moms, drop an affirmation or positive word over our boys I’d love to support to show and share that they are wonderful too🥰❤️

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; though anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.

It’s time for the table to be set! The table is a place of God’s presence and provision. You’ve been bringing everyone to the table without first assessing the value of their contribution. You’ve for too long tried to eat and share meals with those who are actually enemies to your progress and God’s plans for your life. This new month I am declaring you will Overcome and Overflow in October and LEAP to new heights, you will have success in the path God has created for you 💪💖

Let me share how I tackle the upcoming week with purpose and organization, all while learning the harmony of ministry, family and business. Here's what works for me:

1️⃣ Sunday Planning Session: I have a family meeting and kickstart by reviewing the past week, what went well? What do we need to work on and prioritize for our family? What business meetings, trainings do I need to show up for. This helps me map out my schedule, add it to Google Calendar and ensures I'm on top of duties and family commitments.

2️⃣ Weekly Family Devotions: We prioritize having weekly family devotions with my kids. We pray laugh and act a mess but it’s the principles that matter.

3️⃣ Meal planning: We grocery shop based on what we plan to eat and that includes what the kids enjoy. We don’t always cook everything on the Sunday cause somebody likes food fresh from the oven 🙄 but meat is seasoned and whatever else makes life easier prepped.

4️⃣ Simple things that save time in the morning: choosing outfits for the week Sundays, deciding on drop offs and pickups, gathering snacks for school, daughters hair combed for the week.

5️⃣ Tools and Apps: Canva is my go to for proposals, Mailchimp for emails and newsletters, Calendly for consults and Dubsado for managing my business backend I love that it reports income, invoice, proposals and proper workflows can be done in one step. MemberVault is my new favorite for online courses or scaling coaching programs.

6️⃣ Delegate When Possible: Delegation is key. I'm not afraid to delegate tasks whether that’s cleaning/laundry support, child care, hiring an assistant, sharing responsibilities lightens my load.

Life can throw curveballs, so I stay open to adjustments and changes in my schedule. Our dedication and hard work to make a significant impact on both our families and others around us matters. Keep shining your light! 🌟💕

Couple years ago I learnt how it only takes 1 move of God to shift the entire trajectory of your life, for you to go from surviving to thriving. God can do for you, in 3 months what you “missed” in the whole year. Watch, pray, work🙏🏽

👋 How’s your Wednesday? I can’t believe my kids are home with me on a regular Wednesday because there’s a hostage situation that caused schools to close down. Couple months ago I got urgency in my spirit to transition out of my 9-5 again to rebuild my business in a more sustainable way so that I had the OPTION to homeschool if things ever got crazy, well clearly this is crazy.

I mean I always used to say I love it here because it’s basically the wilderness and things happen here last but man 🤦🏽‍♀️ I share this from a place of faith and knowing that we have to lean into learning how to use our skills and talents in multiple ways to create profitable results for our families because having OPTIONS is not an option.

Listening to God within (Holy Spirit) is not an option. Paying attention to the times, spiritually and physically are not options to keep our families safe. I thank God for coverage over all the children that no one was hurt or abducted 🙏🏽 What options do you need in this season?
