Tough USSSA tournament this weekend in Elizabethtown, and our boys got another runner-up. They always find a way to make it to the championship game of the main brackets, and give themselves a shot for 1st. It will come for these boys!
You see baseball teams post all the time “proud of these boys.” But let me tell you exactly why we are so proud of these boys. Brand new team in August ranging of players who have played travel for three years, to a kid who at the time had only been playing for 6 months. They have worked their tails off all fall, through the winter, and it’s paying off for them big time. Not every game is a win, some are close, some are blowouts, and that’s ok.
These boys are every word that has ever been used to describe a baseball team. Gritty, tough, never give up, fun, hilarious, frustrating. But Coach R.K. and Coach DJ love them all the same!
