The Rehoboth Beach Marathon is a yearly event held in Rehoboth BEach Delaware. The marathon is made up of a half marathon and a full marathon. The marathon is held in December each year. This website is dedicated to the marathon and all of the activities surrounding us.

Andrew Beebe Kicked ass today at Kinetic Multisports Lum's Pond Triathlon, finishing his first ever Olympic Triathlon.

It was a hot one, but that didn't stop Andy from having a strong race. Amazing memories were made today, and had a wonderful time watching the race with Andy's family/support crew!

Let's all give Andrew Beebe some good vibes going into the weekend. He will be competing in Lum's Pond Oly this weekend. This is Andy's first race and he's been working hard in his training. We look forward to watching him crush it!

He was inspired to compete in a triathlon after volunteering at the Bethany Beach triathlon with the local boy scout troop.
"It was amazing to watch the athletes compete, and I very much wanted to challenge myself to attempt my own race. However, work and life, seem to always get in the way over the next several years my fitness level declined, and I thought less and less of competing in a triathlon. This past year I refocused, met with a nutritionist, lost weight and begin to strength train on a consistent basis. I was fortunate to reconnect with Tony and Sussex Multisport and with his coaching very soon I will be competing in my first race."

"I try to stay motivated with trying to always improve on each day, having better form, set a better pace, achieve a longer distance on a run.

Making my family proud and knowing they will be there at the first race keeps me going every day."

The key to long term success as a triathlete or any athlete is balance. It should not be about “hitting every workout” or “no pain no gain”. We must listen to and nurture all aspects of our lives. That’s where the true “gains” are.

Many know I’ve started a contracting as a consultant a few months ago, leaving full time employment at Merck. This has been taking most, if not all, of my available time that I’d normally train. Instead, I chose to keep time with Kelly, Hazel, Friends, and non-training activities.

Now that things are set, the needle will slowly go the other direction. I’m excited, happy, and not one bit regretful that I chose that balance.

Here’s to the long game!

Not an April Fools Joke. With a slew of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation seeing this is awesome 💜🦄💪

The Biden administration soon will allow people to indicate their gender as X on U.S. passports. Until now, non-binary, intersex and gender non-conforming people had to choose male or female.

Had Hazel porch time this past weekend. Fulltime self-employed as PAQ Solutions last week took prioritization, so I had a lighter training week. Life is a balance! We are imperfectly perfect!
