We are rolling! Stop #1 in the KY SAF Team Trail on Barren River Lake! Sponsors take notice that spots are still available on this year’s jersey! We’d like to take time to thank local sponsorship like Whitaker Bank, JLA Custom Baits and Walter’s Wiggers Bait Co. for their support.

Every cast. Every angler. Every donation matters.
While we are excited to offer corporate sponsorship opportunities for the Scott County Cardinals and Great Crossing Warhawks Bass Fishing teams, we also want our community to know that you don’t have to be a corporate sponsor to support our anglers.
There is truly no donation too large or too small. Every dollar helps our student anglers with tournament entry fees, travel expenses, safety equipment, team resources, and the many costs that come with competing throughout the season.
Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, or more, your support adds up and directly helps give these young anglers opportunities to compete, grow, and represent Scott County across Kentucky and beyond.

If becoming a corporate sponsor isn’t the right fit for you or your business, but you would still like to support the team, we would be incredibly grateful for your donation.

Thank you for supporting the Scott County Cardinals & Great Crossing Warhawks Bass Fishing Program!

The Scott County Cardinals and Great Crossing Warhawks Bass Fishing program is inviting businesses to partner with our student anglers for the 2026-2027 season. One sponsorship places your company logo on both team jerseys, giving your business visibility at tournaments, weigh-ins, team events, and in photographs throughout the season.

Jersey opportunities begin at $400, with premium placements available. Businesses may also add digital packages for logo use in selected team-produced previews, recaps, and sponsor features. Your support directly helps with tournament fees, travel, safety resources, equipment, and student
opportunities.

We would be glad to help you choose the level that best fits your goals. Placements are limited and reserved in payment order. Thank you for considering an investment in our anglers and our community.

Reach out to Coach Sam Coleman for more information about becoming a partner with the team.

Your support helps student anglers access tournament entry fees, travel, safety resources, equipment, and opportunities to represent Scott County across Kentucky and beyond.

This is a game changer! So excited to have anglers competing in this series!

🎣 BOAT CAPTAINS NEEDED! 🎣

We have high school students from Scott County and Great Crossing who want to compete in bass fishing tournaments but do not have access to a bass boat or an adult boat captain.

We are asking our community: Would anyone be willing to serve as a boat captain and help give these student-anglers the opportunity to compete?

Serving as a captain is about much more than driving a boat. It is an opportunity to mentor young anglers, teach responsibility and sportsmanship, and help students participate in a sport they love.

If you own a tournament-ready bass boat and would like more information about becoming a boat captain, please contact Coach Coleman via email [email protected] or send our team page a private message.

Even if you cannot volunteer, please share this post. The right person may be somewhere in your circle!

It’s a great day to be a Cardinal!

Good luck to our junior team of Wyatt Coleman and Parker Thompson as they compete over the next few days. We’re wishing them tight lines on the right kinds!

To be recognized as one of the top three junior teams in Kentucky and to earn the opportunity to compete on the national stage is a tremendous accomplishment. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment have brought them to this moment, and we couldn’t be prouder to have them represent Scott County.

Go fish hard, enjoy every minute, and know your Cardinal family is cheering you on every cast.

Congratulations to junior qualifiers Wyatt and Parker of the KY Bass Federation! Good luck at the2026 Junior World Championship! We'll see you on Lake Dardanelle. 🎣🏆☀
