2026 Race Recap…

Jeff kicked off the season strong in January with a win at Arrowhead’s First Blood race. When Arrowhead resumed this month, he backed it up with a 2nd and 3rd place finish.
Unfortunately, his luck at the Stand On It race didn’t improve this year. He got spun out twice and got monster trucked once. But that’s racing! Thankfully, he was able to use a provisional on Saturday as last year’s Stock Car Champion. Despite the lack of luck, we still had a great time!
On the bright side, JP picked up wins both nights in Smoke’s old Pure Stock, which was definitely a bonus.

As for Smoke, his car should be ready in a few weeks 🤞🏽 He won’t be able to race at Arrowhead until July, but the plan is to have him running both Arrowhead and Salina after that. Until then, we’ll make sure he’s out there somewhere.

🏁 Sponsorship Opportunities 🏁
As we get ready for the upcoming racing season, we’re currently looking for sponsors and partners to join our team for 2026!

Jeff is currently working to put Smoke’s new Pure Stock together. She’s a bright beaut! Next summer he will turn 14 and he’ll be able to visit even more tracks. Jeff will remain in his newly built Stock Car.

We currently have some of the best sponsors and are so thankful for them. But there is always room to add more! Especially with two drivers in the house!

As our 2025 season has come to an end, we would like to take a moment to thank all our sponsors, fans, friends, and family.
This season has been different, as we added our 12, now 13-year-old son to the mix. Jeff's main focus has shifted from his own racing career to focusing on Smoke racing. We took Smoke to three different tracks, four if you count a play day at Salina. He raced at Arrowhead and Crawford on a weekly basis and a few times at Tri-State. He continued to impress us every time he raced. Having him on different tracks, racing with guys who have raced since before he was even born, has taught him so much. We can't wait to see what his future holds in racing.
As for Jeff, he mainly stayed at Arrowhead so he could dedicate all his attention to Smoke on Saturdays. Although he didn't get to race as much or at different tracks, this year was one of the most rewarding, getting to see his son behind the wheel of a race car with his sister as his biggest fan.
We are very blessed with many sponsors and friends who help the boys do what they love, and our fan base is the absolute best!

‼️Jeff and Smoke are both 2025 Arrowhead Speedway Point Champions! 🏆

Jeff started out the night winning his heat race putting him 3rd row inside in the A feature. After several good battles with the top 5 cars, he was able to secure 2nd place in the A feature. Jeff is now a 2x Arrowhead point champion. 👏🏻

Smoke started front row inside in his heat race. He was doing great until his motor started cutting out, but He was able to finish 5th in his heat race. Come to find out his distributor went bad and was filled with oil. Everyone jumped in to help, and our good friend lended him a distributor and he was able to get back out there for the A feature. He started 5th row inside and was able to work his way up to 7th place. Smoke was able to secure his championship crown at only 13 years old. And with this being his 1st year in a pure stock is super impressive. 🥇

All in all, it was a good night for the Metcalf crew and we couldn’t thank our sponsors and crew enough for all their support.

Another great weekend of racing for our crew.
Friday at Arrowhead Jeff won & Smoke got 6th. Both of them drove a heck of a race.
Saturday at Crawford County Smoke ran a great race and ended up 2nd.
This coming weekend will be the last points race for Arrowhead. The remainder of their season will be specials.
Be sure to get out and support your local racetracks!

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
It seems there was a misunderstanding on the rules(to like, share & comment on the original post), so to be fair we’re going to do another drawing!
Due to privacy settings we can’t see everyone that’s shared. It shows that we had 36 shares, but only 20 of them show up on our side… so we just go off the comments when doing drawings.

Skip from Mid America Dirt Racing has interviewed Smoke a couple of times at the track. But, if you don’t know Skip, he goes around in the pits at different tracks getting content and interviewing different drivers for his social media. Skip also invites people to interview and talk with him for his YouTube channel. Smoke was invited to talk with Skip and share his story and explain a little about his car with him. This was Smokes first big interview but I promise it won’t be the last.
