A little, okay… A LOT late on last week’s race recap 🏁

Friday we took Smoke & JP to Electric City. They had a good time trying out a new track, and we’ll just leave it at that. 😂
Saturday we went to Salina, where Smoke brought home a 2nd place finish and JP finished 3rd! Seeing both our cars in the tech barn was pretty cool!
I was totally impressed with our boy. Smoke pulled out his Metcalf card and hit his marks on the bottom, just like I’ve watched his dad do so many times over the years. 🧡 He stayed patient, ran his line, and drove a great race!
Bringing home 2nd place after only a handful of times racing at Salina is definitely something we’re proud of!

We’ll be back at Salina tonight with the Pure Stocks!
Good luck to all of our friends racing at Tri-State, Crawford, and wherever else you may be racing tonight!

Race Recap! 🏁

Smoke was back at the Highbanks this weekend! In the heat race, he started 4th and finished 6th. Then in the A Feature, he started 7th and drove his way to a 5th place finish out of 23 cars!
One of the big moments was watching him battle side by side with his best friend’s dad, Jared Russell. It was pretty awesome seeing Smoke hold his own against an A-Mod driver who’s won so many races at Salina. And a top 5 finish is always great 👏🏽

JP also had an awesome night, coming from 8th to take home the Pure Stock win!

And to top it all off… Yeley won the Powder Puff race! The first and last time she drove was when she was 12, so she definitely surprised us all. She climbed in that car and absolutely drove the wheels off it! I always knew she had it in her, and she proved it. I added a picture of the last time she raced, which is the same car JP won in last night 🥹

We couldn’t be more proud of Smoke, Yeley, and JP.
It was an amazing night!

Race Recap…

What a weekend!

This was Smoke’s second weekend racing at our local NASCAR tracks, and he definitely didn’t disappoint.

After spinning out in his heat race, he fought his way back to finish second, which put him starting 4th in the A Feature. From there, he drove the wheels off that thing and brought home the win! He and JP put on one heck of a side-by-side battle for several laps. It was so much fun to watch.

Jeff was behind the wheel of Jimmy’s Stock Car again and added another win to the night, making it extra special because it was the first time Jeff and Smoke have won on the same night. That’s one we’ll never forget. 🧡

Salina didn’t go quite as planned, but Smoke still came home with an 8th place finish, and honestly, that’s a win in my book. I’ve been nervous about him racing there and starting in the middle of the pack, but he continues to impress us every time he hits the track.

A huge thank you to our family, friends, and sponsors who continue to support Jeff and Smoke. We truly appreciate every one of you.

We took Smoke to Monett last night with his Yeoman powered Outlaw Chassis, and what a night it turned out to be! He started 5th in his heat race and finished 4th, which lined him up 9th for the A Feature.

By about lap 7, he had worked his way up to 3rd. A caution came out at just the right time, giving him a shot. On the final lap, he made the pass for the win!

We were beyond excited and couldn’t be more proud of him. Seeing so many people genuinely excited for him too made the night even more special. It was one of those wins we’ll never forget.

Special thanks to JP for wheeling this hot rod the last several weeks and for finding a 4 wheeler for us to borrow to get most of us to the front stretch for the winner picture(Thanks Kevin Guinn)!

It’s been a minute since we’ve done a racing recap 🏁🔥

Life has been chaotic lately with our girl graduating. Between senior activities, graduation, and all the celebrations, the last few weeks have been a blur 🤍 Oh, and we can’t forget to add Smoke breaking his wrist to make life even more exciting🤦🏻‍♀️

Jeff has been doing great at Arrowhead and has managed to pick up wins in the last few races there. But lately, I think he’s been enjoying the crew chief role more than being a driver. He’s really trying to convince us all that he’s ready for retirement lol

A few weeks ago we brought Smoke’s new car out and let him start running with the Stock Cars at Tri-State. I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant at first, but we didn’t want him sitting out half the season waiting to turn 14… so I trusted the decision, and he’s done a great job with them so far.

And to top it off, JP even grabbed a win in Jeff’s Stock Car at Tri-State last time they raced.

We are at Lucas Oil Speedway for tonight since they rained out last night. Jaymee is making her comeback & JP Harris will be wheeling Jeff’s Stock Car! Good luck to both of them 🤞🏽

2026 Race Recap…

Jeff kicked off the season strong in January with a win at Arrowhead’s First Blood race. When Arrowhead resumed this month, he backed it up with a 2nd and 3rd place finish.
Unfortunately, his luck at the Stand On It race didn’t improve this year. He got spun out twice and got monster trucked once. But that’s racing! Thankfully, he was able to use a provisional on Saturday as last year’s Stock Car Champion. Despite the lack of luck, we still had a great time!
On the bright side, JP picked up wins both nights in Smoke’s old Pure Stock, which was definitely a bonus.

As for Smoke, his car should be ready in a few weeks 🤞🏽 He won’t be able to race at Arrowhead until July, but the plan is to have him running both Arrowhead and Salina after that. Until then, we’ll make sure he’s out there somewhere.

🏁 Sponsorship Opportunities 🏁
As we get ready for the upcoming racing season, we’re currently looking for sponsors and partners to join our team for 2026!

Jeff is currently working to put Smoke’s new Pure Stock together. She’s a bright beaut! Next summer he will turn 14 and he’ll be able to visit even more tracks. Jeff will remain in his newly built Stock Car.

We currently have some of the best sponsors and are so thankful for them. But there is always room to add more! Especially with two drivers in the house!
