The old me was stuck chasing instagram filters, fake tans, good lighting and editing!

Here I post in the moment! I have a full time job and a business! I’m a mom of two busy girls and a wife to busy hubby!

I don’t have time to filter and edit and check all that! At LakeFit we post about real people and real progress!

No shade—just the truth.

After living in a small town for 6 years, I’ve noticed something:
People would rather sit at the bar than show up for a workout.

Comfort zones are easy—couch, drinks, snacks.
Until the doctor says it’s time to get serious about your health.

Taking care of your body shouldn’t start when you’re already in trouble!

Happy Monday, LakeFit!!

Hope everyone had a sweet little Valentine’s weekend. I got some quality time in with my little one while Twaney was off living her best life with Ouma and Oupa. We tested the Berry Delight smoothie at Seasons Bakery and obviously had to grab a cinnamon roll too. Balance, right?

Now… onto today’s episode of Why Are We Like This?

I spent part of my weekend deep cleaning the gym because someone keeps waltzing in with muddy outdoor shoes ( for about 3 weeks now). Not just walking through… but hopping on the treadmill like it’s a farm-to-cardio experience.

I truly do not have the time (or the desire) to sit and scroll through camera footage trying to track down the person who somehow missed the HUGE $$&@ sign on the front door that says NO OUTDOOR SHOES. It’s big. It’s bold. It’s not subtle.

If you happen to know who our mysterious Muddy Bandit is, feel free to reach out. Totally anonymous. There may or may not be a reward involved. 👀

Let’s take care of our gym and our equipment. This place runs on respect, sweat, and slightly aggressive reminders.

Huge thank you to everyone who follows the rules and respects the space. You’re the real MVPs. You make this place run smoothly and I appreciate you more than you know.
