Long Post Warning!!!!
There so much to cover so let me start with this weekend. PA Chaos 16U Elite was in Rhode Island playing at the NE Finest Showcase. After getting rained out Friday, we went 3-1 the rest of the weekend. As always the girls fought hard and played great. Today was incredible. Game one we were down 5-0. Ciara came up with the bases loaded and cleared them with a double. Then the following inning Gabby and Addison went back to back to tie the game. We come up in the bottom of the 5th still tied and Cadence hits a walk off.
Game two the bats stayed hot. We won 10-3 and Avery hit maybe the furthest HR I ever saw live. Just incredible.
These young ladies are rock stars. I don’t think I’ve ever been around a team that has dealt with so much adversity. And through all of that they remained focused finishing 27-13 and going 13-2 in their final 15 games. I love these ladies and I can’t wait to see what they achieve.
This was also my last game coaching for PA Chaos. The last 7/8 years have been amazing. Chaos is truly a second family to us. I have such incredible memories. I’ve had three of my daughters play for this organization and I wouldn’t change any of it.
In my time here I’ve been able to work with hundreds of incredible athletes. And all of them hold a special place in my heart. I hope they feel the same about me as a coach. I still get calls and texts from girls that I’ve coached asking for advice and it’s fantastic. A special shout out to Joe Spina who has gone above and beyond for my family. Thanks for the opportunity Joe!!!!
Most of you know that I have other softball opportunities in the works, and Georgie still has one more year at Chaos. I’ll definitely see everyone again at the ball field. Thanks Everyone for Everything!!!!
