The Gardendale Youth Basketball League is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to promote and develop basketball programs for boys and girls in the city of Gardendale and surrounding areas.

We are so excited to continue the growth of GYBL by launching our Rec Plus program. There will be teams for boys and girls in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. Try-outs will be required, and players will play on these teams in addition to their Rec teams. This is for players who want to play even more basketball against teams around Central Alabama. More details coming soon! Come join us this winter. Registration for Rec and Rec Plus starts on 9/1!

Congrats to all of our Allstar teams that finished up this weekend. Our 7U girls, 10U girls, 13U girls, and 8U boys were crowned champions in their 31 North tournaments. Our 6U boys and 15U boys were runners up. It’s been a great season everyone! Can’t wait to see everyone next year!
