So this week seemed to be the same as last week except for the upsets in the top 25. Other then BYU and Miami loosing, most of the group held there own. Now about my LSU tigers, I am a big critic and even a bigger critic of my home team. LSU has a lot of work to do, especially offensively. Quarterback play needs extreme improvement especially in the passing aspect. Many open receivers left out to dry, if we had a passer Instead of a run first quarterback we would see a big difference in the offense. Yes Daniel’s is a great runner, but his passing skills need fine tuning. He’s a one look and run fella. IN SEC play he will have a really rough time, especially against a fast defense. As far the rest of the top 5, all seems to fall in place as always in the first couple of weeks. Next weeks games will not change from this week other then Clemson vs Wake Forrest and Florida vs Tennessee. Everyone else inside the too 5 should have a cakewalk.

My take on college football weekend. We seen how rankings don’t mean crap in the first few weeks and really shouldn’t. But guess you have to start somewhere. My top 5 is somewhat of a guessing game on some of the teams.
#1 Georgia: haven’t played quality teams as of yet, but shows potential of last years team. We will see when SEC play starts. I think Kentucky takes them out.
#2 Ohio State: as much as I dislike this team they did show they have the offense to keep pace. Defense needs to step up to be a legitimate contender.
#3 Alabama: A close loss to an unranked Texas team, who should be ranked inside the top 25. Too many penalties for a Saban team. That will mean a loss in SEC play. Need to make up with high scoring against a quality appointment to gain back that #1 spot. The quarterback can’t carry this team all year.
#4 Clemson: again, playing against less quality opponents but shows potential especially on defense.
#5 Oklahoma: Still gonna need a higher output on offense and a stout defense from here on out to make a run.
Sorry Michigan, but playing Hawaii will not keep you in the too 5. Long shot to make it, but really like the surprise team is Miami.
