Summer wrap up…we ended our summer season 11-13-1 and played in some great showcase tournaments in 3 different states (TN, GA and IN). We played some great ball and at times, not so great ball but gained some valuable experience!

We had several girls participate in camps and showcases outside of our tournaments this summer. Rachael Baker, our #10, was non stop this summer. She participated in the All Academic Showcase and a multi school prospect camp (ran by Carnegie Mellon) in Colorado and also participated in the New England’s Finest Showcase. Rachael pitched a total of 6 innings in the two showcases and had 8 strikeouts. She also attended several camps including Florida Tech, Milligan, UT Martin, Lee and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Great job Rachael and way to represent Fury!

We also had a few girls attend the Trevecca University camp in Nashville…Lucy Ban (13), Aspen Lyles (2) and Brooklyn DePyssler (8). These girls had a great time and represented Fury well!

Finally, Edie Jones (12), attended UT Southern’s camp and a college coach showcase camp in Germantown. She had a great experience and also represented Fury well!

Great job to these girls and all of the other girls on our team! We are very proud of all of you! Looking forward to the fall season!
