During this Friday’s football game vs Alexander/Pembroke we will be taking time to honor our Senior Football players and Cheerleaders, as well as commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks against our nation.

Please see the below details:

❤️🤍💙 All spectators are encouraged to wear Red, White, and Blue.

🎉 🎓 Letchworth seniors will be honored at 6:30 pm

🇺🇸 Following the senior recognitions, a moment of silence will be held to mark the anniversary of September 11.

🏈 The varsity football game vs. Alexander/Pembroke starts at 7 pm on Letchworth's football field.

⏱️ During halftime, first responders in attendance will be recognized and invited to the field.

⚽ Girls Varsity Soccer is on the road tonight - 6PM in Geneseo. 🏐Girls Varsity Volleyball here at home - 6:30.

⚽Boys Soccer Update ⚽
Letchworth/Warsaw United came up short against host Perry in the Perry Tournament championship game. Hard fought by both sides-L/W United got the scoring started with a goal for J.Wright (Sr. Striker) off a beautiful assist from D. Murray (So. Mid).

Perry responded with a quick goal to tie it.
2nd half L/W kept the pressure but couldn’t get over the hump as Perry added a pair of goals down the stretch. R. Ushurov (Jr. GK) added 6 saves.

Coach Cowie said “Our effort and energy was there all game, we just couldn’t get a break in the 2nd half to take advantage of. Perry does a great job to possess and attack any opening and they earned the tough win tonight”

Letchworth/Warsaw United boys Varsity advanced to the Championship in the Perry Tournament over Dansville. L/W scored a late equalizer from the foot of J. Wright (Sr. Striker) assisted by D. Raymond (So. Def.) and controlled play through 2 scoreless overtimes. R. Ushurov tallied 7 saves in the game, plus a massive PK save on the opening kicker for Dansville. J. Wright also opened the goals in PK's, followed by D.Murray and B. Roche as the United prevailed 3-2. They will play the winner of Perry vs. Alexander/Attica Saturday at 6:30.
