Heavy hits, high energy, and unbeatable community—Hogtoberfest 2026 is almost here! 🐗🏉

On Saturday, October 3rd, three Florida squads are heading into our house at Squirrel Ridge Park to clash with your Gainesville Hogs for local pride and silverware.

Whether you’re a die-hard rugby fan, an alumnus back for Alumni Weekend, or just looking for a good time, come pack our home sidelines!

Looking for a new challenge, a competitive outlet, or a brotherhood in Gainesville? Whether you’ve played for years or never touched a rugby ball in your life, there’s a spot on the pitch for you. 🐗🏉

We welcome players ages 18+ of all athletic backgrounds, body types, and fitness levels. Zero experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

📅 Training: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

☀️ Warmer weather means more time in and around the water — and more reason to stay alert. While May was Water Safety Month, this message is just as important in June and all summer long.
Please watch the PSA created by Safe Kids North Central Florida reminding families to stay vigilant around water following a concerning rise in drowning and submersion incidents across our region.

Tough, physical, and back-and-forth until the end — Saturday’s match was everything playoff rugby should be. Both teams traded the lead, but when the final whistle blew, your Hogs came up short. That’s not the ending we wanted, but there’s no question the guys left everything on that pitch.

Thank you to Sarasota for making the trip up and giving us exactly the kind of battle we expected. Best of luck the rest of the way. 🤝

A huge thank you to SilverQ for once again hosting the best post-match social in the game 🍻 and to Long Drink for keeping everyone refreshed. 💚

Now we close out the season right — end of year banquet coming up, and then it’s 7s season. Summer tourneys are on the horizon and we’ll have updates soon.

Saturday’s a rugby day! 🐗🔥

The Hogs took care of business with a big win to close out the regular season — but the day was about so much more than the scoreboard.

We celebrated Alumni Weekend and honored our Hall of Fame inductees — the legends who built this club and the ones who kept it going. Seeing the brotherhood come together like that never gets old.

We also rocked our colorful, mismatched socks for World Down Syndrome Day. Huge thanks to FSU B for not only a competitive match but for joining us in that celebration. That’s what rugby is about! 🤝

The jersey auction was a success — thank you to everyone who bid and helped keep a piece of Hogs history alive.

And to the crew at SilverQ — thanks for hosting a great post-match social to cap off a memorable day. 🍻

Now we look ahead.

The Hogs are back at Squirrel Ridge Park for a HOME PLAYOFF GAME against Sarasota. Details coming soon — stay locked in. 🐗🏉
