Here's a few pics from this past Saturday at the Union Sportsmen's Alliance and UAW Local 659 4th Annual "Get a Kid Outdoors Day" held at Blue Gill boat launch. My son Mason Jones and his Girlfriend Gracie O'Connor and myself, ran the archery area for the kids we all had a great day!
A very special thanks to coach Laura Garrett Woodby from Swartz Creek Archery Team for loaning us the back stop and Jamie O'Connor, Larrissa Jones, and Karen Zrakovi-Peterson for taking a few pics!

I have been kind of slow at posting lately... Building strings, building product for Gen-Na Archery Products coaching, and volunteering..

But I had to post what happened the last couple of days... My dear friend and PCBS shooter Joella Bates wrote to me, to tell me, she took first in R-100 for Traditional... ❤️

Then she told me that, 2 days ago she had put on a new string I had sent her.. the following day, she was shooting 73 points in the lead at the USA Archery National Field Championships ... Today she wrote to tell she took 1st place in Women's Longbow!
WOOHOO!!! GO JOELLA!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

One of my favorite highlights of the National Archery in the Schools Program / Centershot/ IBO - All things Genesis is running into good friends... Wednesday we had dinner with Joe, Jamie, Gracie, and Amelia O'Connor and my dear long time friend Joella Bates , I got to spend time on and off with my friends Chad Weaver and his lovely wife Betsy (SUCH A SWEETHEART!) from Champion Custom Bowstrings/Recurves.com... I "finally" ran into a long time friend Nick Harp and his wife Amanda from Gods Country Outdoor Ministries and last but definitely not least, I got to spend an all too short time with Bobby Baxter and his daughter Laila, and Michael, Nikki, and Khloe Kerchum from , Grand Ledge Archery Team all these kids shoot PCBS! And they all soon be using Gen-Na Archery Products 😁😁❤️❤️

I'd like to congratulate all of the shooters at the 2026 National Archery in the Schools Program Nationals, the Centershot, and the IBO - All things Genesis shoot in Louisville Kentucky! They all did great, and there were a lot of extremely impressive scores, and everyone seemed to be having a blast! Looking forward to next year already!
