CHANGE OF VENUE FFOR THE ANNUAL MEETING.

Due to a change in the operating hours of the LaVale Library, the WMUSBC Annual Meeting on July 11, 2026 has been relocated to White Oak Lanes in Cumberland, MD. The time of the meeting remains at 1:00 pm.

As a reminder, this meeting is open to all sanctioned members of the Western Maryland USBC, and all are invited to attend.

The Annual Meeting for the Western Maryland USBC is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm.

The meeting will be held at:

Cumberland, MD 21502

This meeting is open to all WMUSBC sanctioned bowlers. If you are planning on attending, please let us know.

Congratulations to Brenda Rice and Bob Hickey. Brenda and Bob won the Handicap Doubles in the recent WMUSBC Open Tournament held April 11-12, 2026 at Rainbow Lanes in Keyser.

Jeremy Campbell was recently appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the Western Maryland USBC.

Jeremy began bowling at the age of 5 at The Bowler in LaVale. He was a member of the Allegany High School Bowling team before transitioning into adult leagues at White Oak Lanes in Cumberland.

Jeremy said that he wants to help grow the sport of bowling in Western Maryland, especially Youth Bowling. He hit the ground running, helping with the Maryland State Youth Championships, held the past two weekends at White Oaks.

Welcome to the board, Jeremy.

Congratulations to Alex Shirey. Alex threw 11 strikes in a row, and finished with a 299 game on March 20, 2026 in the County League at White Oak Lanes in Cumberland.
