Strong at 64. That is the goal.
Brian is not chasing six pack abs. He is training to stay strong enough to do the things he enjoys, move with confidence, and avoid becoming a weak old man. That is what functional fitness is all about.
Here is part of Brian's workout from this week.
• Barbell RDL
Builds lower body strength, strengthens the hamstrings and glutes, and helps protect the lower back for everyday movement.
• Dumbbell Shoulder Press
Improves upper body strength, shoulder stability, and makes lifting, reaching, and carrying easier.
• Dumbbell Split Squat
Develops leg strength, balance, coordination, and single leg stability that carries over into daily life.
• Single Arm Lat Pulldown
Builds back strength, improves posture, and helps create better pulling strength for real world activities.
This is only part of Brian's workout, but every exercise has a purpose. We focus on strength training that improves functional fitness, builds muscle, supports healthy aging, increases mobility, improves balance, and helps maintain independence.
Getting older does not mean getting weaker. It means training smarter, staying consistent, and building the strength to keep doing what you love for years to come.
Brian keeps showing up, putting in the work, and getting stronger every week. That is how lasting results are built.
If your goal is better strength, improved mobility, more energy, and staying active as you age, we would love to help you get there.
