You’re finally on track… and then life decides to blow up.

You’re meal prepping like a boss.
Getting your steps in.
Even sleeping 7 hours without doom scrolling (a miracle).

You feel like maybe—just maybe—you’re starting to get your groove back.

Then boom.
Sick kid. Work meltdown.

Suddenly everything needs you
and you’re right back to last place on your own damn list.

Here’s the truth:
It’s not that you’re unmotivated.
It’s that your life is already full, and your old plan doesn’t fit anymore.

Especially not in your 40s, when your body’s shifting and screaming,
“Can we not do this like we’re 28 with no responsibilities?”

I finally realized I didn’t need to blow up my life to feel better.

I just needed to stop chasing perfection and start doing what actually matters with support, and in a way that works for this season.

Small shifts.
Steady energy.
Actual momentum.

That’s how you rock your 40s.

Not by doing more.

But by doing what counts. 💥

I almost gave up.

Why can’t I get it together? I’m doing everything “right” and nothing is working.
I mean... I’m a health coach, for crying out loud.
Shouldn’t I know what’s going on with my own body?

Meal prepping. Moving. Sleeping. Supplementing.
Gold star student over here.

And still…my energy? Gone.
My body? Still holding that donut around my middle.
My emotions? A full-blown soap opera and I’m the raging character.

I kept thinking it was me.
Like I wasn’t disciplined enough. Strong enough. Something enough.
But I was still following rules that worked in my 30s even though my 40s had officially entered the chat.

The biggest mistake I made? Thinking I had to push harder to feel better.
Turns out, pushing harder (hellooo cortisol) was just making things worse.
My body didn’t need another bootcamp.

It needed me to slow down, listen, and stop acting like a 25-year-old on a mission.
When I started doing less, less intensity, more recovery, more compassion
my body started to trust me again.

And I started to feel like me again.

👉 If this sounds familiar... you might be in perimenopause and not even know it. Did you know it can start as early as 35?

I created a guide that breaks it all down. No shame, no fluff, just real talk + relief.

When your 4-year-old becomes your life coach and media coach!

This weekend I was curled up in my jammies on the couch, feeling totally relaxed and happy.

Out of nowhere, Jace looked at me and said, “Hold still Momma, and smile big”, just like I always tell him when he’s living his best life. Then he snapped this photo and totally cracked me up.

What kind of weekend shenanigans did you get up to? Bonus points if it involved snacks, naps, or questionable fashion choices.

This couch session was powered by zero guilt and fluffy socks.
Photo cred: Jace, age 4

Turns out, the real magic still happens offline.

I’ve got the online support.
But in person? That felt harder.
Zoom became my comfort zone.

Connection, the real, in-person kind started to feel exposing.
And yet, I missed it.

I missed leaving someone better than I found them.
I missed showing up in a room and lighting it up with presence, not just comments.

So yesterday I took a small step that felt big: I went to a local NetWalk event.
A gentle group walk about wellness, strength, and connection.

When I arrived, the host saw me and her face lit up.
She smiled, hugged me, and even though we’d never met in person before… it felt like we had.

That one hug reminded me,
If we’re going to create real change in the world… we can’t do it from behind a screen.
We need each other. We need moments like this.

By the end of the walk I was already thinking of who I could invite next time.
Because showing up together for our health, for our dreams just felt right.

Who knows, maybe I’ll even start a netwalking group in my own neighborhood.

The Switcheroo Moment 🤯

Phone went into the laundry basket.
Sock somehow ended up on the kitchen counter… with a sticky note attached to it.
No idea how. No explanation. Zero memory.

What’s your weirdest switcheroo moment?
What did you find in the wrong place and still can’t explain why?
Drop it below so I know I’m not alone

When your hormones hijack your weight loss... here’s what helped.

I lost 60lbs and reversed my biological age by 10 years.

Ask me any question about what it takes to lose stubborn weight in perimenopause and menopause.

Whether it’s about what to eat, how to move, or how to stay motivated when your body feels like it’s working against you… I’ve been there.

Drop your questions below. I’m happy to share what actually works.

Perimenopause isn’t just about your period.
It’s about your sleep, your mood, your energy, your memory, your weight — your whole self.

And no one tells you how intense it can feel.

Here’s why it can feel like you’re losing it:
Your hormones aren’t just fluctuating. They’re swinging.

Estrogen, progesterone, and cortisol all start shifting at once.
That impacts everything from your sleep to your stress response to your blood sugar.

Your body isn’t trying to punish you. It’s trying to adapt.
But without support, it can feel like chaos.

Add in daily stress, lack of sleep, and unrealistic expectations, and it’s no wonder women feel like they’re coming undone.
You’re not crazy. Your system is overwhelmed.
And when you understand why, you can finally stop blaming yourself.

If this feels familiar, I made something for you 💛
It’s called Perimenopause Essentials — a free guide with simple, natural ways to support your hormones and feel more like yourself again.

I’ll drop the link in the comments.

This season is an invitation to let go of what no longer serves and step fully into the most powerful version of you.

Hey friends, I’m looking for a recommendation.

I need a great hair stylist and/or makeup artist who can help me create a signature look. Someone creative, skilled, and ideally fun to work with.

I’m a holistic perimenopause/menopause coach and have spent the last few years focused on healing from the inside out. I’ve lost 60 pounds and reversed my biological age by 10 years. Now I’m ready for the outside to reflect how I feel inside.

The only thing is… I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to hair and makeup!

If you’ve worked with someone you loved, I’d be so grateful if you could share their name, contact info, and what made them great, just or tag them here.

Thank you.

What If It’s Not Just Stress?

If you’re tired of lying awake, staring at the ceiling, willing yourself to fall asleep…

If you’ve had one too many nights of waking up drenched in sweat or overwhelmed by racing thoughts...

You’re not overreacting.
You’re not imagining it.
Your body is trying to tell you something.

If you want to talk it through, no pressure and no expectations,
I have 2 spots open this week for a Hormone Harmony session.

Comment "Sleep please" below or send me a message and I’ll share the details.

There is a way through this. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

He told me I was being selfish and he was right.

For years, I thought I had to have every certification, training, and piece of knowledge before I could truly show up and serve.

I kept learning... and learning... and learning.
But the more I learned, the less confident I felt. Because I wasn’t integrating. I wasn’t trusting myself. And I wasn’t putting any of it into action.

Then one day, I was in a conversation with my coach. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that hit me like a jolt of lightning:

"By not sharing your knowledge and your gifts, you're being selfish."

I literally jumped in my seat. Sat up straighter. My body flinched like I had just been slapped with truth.

In that moment, I realized: My actions were not in alignment with my mission.

I had to let go of the belief that confidence came from knowing everything.

Confidence doesn’t come from mastery of information. It comes from embodied action.

Since that moment, I’ve started owning my voice in a new way. I’ve been showing up. Sharing my truth. Telling my story.

And surrendering to the process.

Because THIS is where the real transformation begins.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to have it all figured out before you could start... please hear this:

Start anyway. Start with what you know. Your voice is already enough.

And someone out there needs what you have.
