Night 1 of the Small town showdown at KAM Kartway ~Go Kart Dirt Racing in North Texas~. Started pole in the heat and looped it running 2nd ended up 3rd. Which put him starting 6th in the main was running 7th most of the race and looped it. Went to a he back and made it back up to 7th before he looped it again. Ended the night in 9th but we finally finished a race with nothing tore up down here which is a win in itself! Made some adjustments and we’ll give it hell for night 2!

We have seriously slacked on race recaps the last month or so! We’re so sorry! The last 4 weeks have been clean sweeps here at Silver Dollar Speedway. Last week wrapped up points season securing the championship for Ryder! He also won the seat belt challenge getting out of his car in less than 15 seconds!

Last night we had the Dash for Cash race. We went out for the first heat and had some car trouble and unfortunately weren’t able to take the green. Dad worked hard for the second heat, he was able to take the green and finish first but we still weren’t running right. We made a few more changes during intermission between the awards ceremony for the points races and had a slightly improved car for the main, bringing home first and a cool check! Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored the Jr 1 class to give the kids a great payout!

We are done in Amarillo for the year and taking a short and sweet break until Kam in September!

We couldn’t do this without our amazing sponsors thank y’all for everything y’all do!!
