For next week’s County Fair Showdown, we’re testing a new format that gives players more opportunities to qualify and advance, while also upgrading Expert Tier prizes from session balls to their regular counterparts.
What's changing? 🏌️
We're extending qualifying from the usual format to four days of qualifying, giving everyone more opportunities to advance. To balance the extended qualifying period, the time available to complete the Elimination and Final Rounds will be shortened to 24 hours each. Rounds 2 and 3 will still be 18 holes each
Showdown Schedule 🕘
Qualifying Day 1: Tuesday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Qualifying Day 2: Wednesday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Qualifying Day 3: Thursday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Qualifying Day 4: Friday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Elimination Round: Saturday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Final Round: Sunday at 9 AM PT — 24 hours
Expert Tier Prize Update 🏆
We're also making a change to the prizes for players competing in the Expert Tier. Instead of session balls, prizes will now feature their regular counterparts.
This change will remain in effect for the rest of this month's Showdowns, at minimum.
Why Are We Making This Change? ⁉️
Extending qualifying gives players more opportunity to qualify for the next round and make a run for final round prizes.
