💪 Muscle Matters Wednesday | Episode 4
Building Muscle Starts in the Gym... But It Doesn't End There.
One of the biggest misconceptions about building muscle is that it happens while you're lifting weights.
It doesn't.
Your workout provides the stimulus, the signal, that tells your body, "We need to get stronger."
The real work happens afterward.
That's where protein comes in.
Protein supplies the amino acids your body uses to repair and rebuild muscle tissue after training. Without enough protein, your body has a harder time recovering and adapting to the work you put in at the gym.
Think of it this way:
🏋️ Strength training tells your muscles to grow.
🥩 Protein gives them the building blocks to do it.
😴 Recovery is when the magic happens.
That's why we focus on both smart training and smart nutrition. Neither works as well without the other.
Don't worry about making everything perfect overnight. Start by lifting consistently, eating enough protein throughout the day, and giving your body time to recover. Small habits, repeated consistently, lead to lasting results.
