On Wednesday night, senior Payton Burgess officially signed to continue her academic, basketball and track career at Transylvania University!

This is a huge achievement and a direct result of all the hard work P has put in over the years. We couldn't be prouder of her, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes at Transy!

Menifee County High School welcomes Coach Tyler Thacker!
Some words from your new coach: “I am grateful and honored to be the next Menifee County High School Boys Basketball Head Coach. I am thankful for the support of my wife Kendra Thacker and 3 beautiful daughters, without their belief in me and support in my coaching career I would not be where I am today.

As a former Wildcat and proud Menifee County native I’m excited for this next chapter! I am a member of Frenchburg Baptist Church and an Air Force Veteran with 11 years of service and counting.

My passion for basketball and commitment to this community have driven me to spend the past several years coaching and mentoring young athletes, including serving as Middle School Girls Head Coach for two years and High School Girls Assistant Coach for three years. I take great pride in investing in the next generation and helping youth reach their full potential in all areas of life.

As your next Head Coach I want to equip these young men with the tools they need to succeed, on and off the court. Our program will be held at the highest standard driven by our Core Values: Integrity, Respect, and Discipline.
