This weekend at Sandusky Valley Riders paisley did so much better! It was like it all finally clicked and she was a whole different kid out on the track. Now that she has more speed we just need to keep working on more speed and just getting her comfortable on the bike. Over all it was a very good weekend seeing her actually get air.

Another racing weekend in the books for Paisley. She went out for practice Saturday during the day to get comfortable on her 85. She already knew then what she needed to work on coming into the practices before the motos that night. She raced the 65 mini beginners and the girls class on her 85 she ended up with 2nd in the 65 class and 3rd in the girls class. She walked away this weekend with placing and so much improvement and her starts are looking pretty cool. A lot of people see her wanting it and trying so hard they are very nice to come over and give her some pointers to make it easier for her on the track.

I’m a little late but here’s a recap on paisleys racing last weekend.
Paisley has not had the best of luck when it came to racing at SVR her bike was always broke down never able to hit the big track till last weekend. She went out for practice Saturday and looked so much faster, was hitting jumps she felt very good.
Sunday she raced and her placing was no be best but her racing was so much better. We know she’s behind on how she should be racing on a 65 but we are making good headway to where she should be. The 65 open is always a struggle for her she placed 13th in that race on both motos but her 65 beginners she went 9th in moto one and 8th in moto 2.
Paisley now will be also racing a Kawasaki 85 along with her 65 for the rest of the season. She has had 3 different bikes in a year and a half and manages to figure them out in time and now getting stronger on them. She loves her 85 so much more! We are happy that she’s happy! Hopefully we can get her where she needs to be soon! 🤞🏼

A small recap in paisleys racing weakened.

Paisley went started out practicing on the small track before night racing started. The goal was to get her jumping and more speed on the small track and if she could do it there she could on the big track. And she did exactly that she went out and started jumping and getting air to her jumps she realized she actually likes it. She also has realized everytime dad says go faster it gets you through the ruts she finally realized that it’s also true only after a year and a half telling her that.
But also still had more to work on. She knows if she gets more speed she can also jump farther and that will come with time we are just happy she at least started to finally do it. Not just speed and jumping but teaching her to not get so comfortable on the seat that she needs to stand on certain parts of the track. That will also come with time and practice.
Over all her lap times got faster and her jumps looked pretty good I’d say for the most part.

Over the weekend paisley raced at delta and it was a very busy weekend for her.

Friday night her uncle went out to race and gave him self a concussion and paisley stepped in for him to finish the race out she was ready no questions asked and didn’t do to bad.

Saturday night she was given the chance to go on a new bike to try it out and see how she liked it for the night series. With a new bike to her she still was able to pull off same lap times as usual some a little faster than usual. But going out feeling a lot more confident in herself and her bike. Her placing was not the best in any race she ran but right now still the point is to just get her a bike she can trust and for her to still learn when she needs to down shift now and trusting herself to jump.

Sunday she went out for the stateline series at Delta Raceway and it was about the same as Saturday night. She went out for practice and lost her kick start Jason got lucky while walking the track and found it. She felt like trying to jump a jump like the other kids and ended up casing the jump she just needed a little more speed she would have cleared it no problem. But she was able to keep a consistent speed and keep the same lap times for both days. Now it’s just about more speed learning a whole new bike and learning when to shift up and down mostly down and having more speed when jumping so she don’t case no more jumps.
