FIRST DEFENSE is focused on providing you with the basic firearms training requirements and safety instruction needed for you to apply for your concealed carry permit. I am an avid believer in our second amendment and a solid supporter of an individual’s right to self-defense. It is my hope that none of you would ever have to be faced with the prospect of taking another individual’s life in defens

e of your own life or the life of a loved one but the reality is that millions are victims of violent crimes every year and the best defense you can have is to be prepared. Class Cost:

Nebraska- $100
Multi-State- $120

Multi state certification covers over 35 states! Gun Rentals: $10 (Should be reserved a few days prior to day of class. )40 or 45 acp ammo required. Equipment/items Needed for class:
1. Valid Driver’s License or ID card.
2. Any center fire, rim fire, semi automatic or revolver (2 speed loaders/ magazines would be best for time sake.)
3. Strong side belt holster (left handed or right handed) with belt and concealment garment (vest, light jacket, etc) For safety sake please, no cross draw or shoulder holsters!
4. 50 rounds of quality ammo (NO RELOADS!)(No ammo or weapons in classroom. Leave in car until range exercise.)
5. Shooting glasses (Prescription glasses or sunglasses will due)
6. Ear plugs (pen or pencil, clip board; food, drinks, and snacks as desired. )

!! ATTENTION LANCASTER COUNTY !!

A few weeks ago it was said that The Lancaster County Planning Department and Lancaster Planning Commission were tone deaf to the needs of the rural community when they tried to take away the ability of Lancaster County residents to operate home businesses providing welding, auto/machine repair and animal slaughter processing. This week the Planning Department is still deaf by recommending the Planning Commission approve installing toxic Lithium Battery Energy Fields in Agricultural zoned areas near substations and the rural residents who live nearby. They are looking to install a BESS adjacent to the Rokeby substation. Do you live near a substation or know someone who does? You may want to read this and share it.

These Battery Energy Storage Systems cover acres of farmland with semi tractor trailer sized lithium batteries. These batteries can combust and cause a thermal runaway fire that can not be extinguished. They also have high decibel approved noise levels.

For those of you wondering how the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners can vote to install Solar, Wind and toxic Battery Energy Storage Systems in Agricultural zoned areas the answers are through “TEXT AMENDMENTS", “SPECIAL PERMITS” and “DAVID LEVY” the green energy lawyer of choice for Lancaster County.

Text amendments change the local zoning verbiage to state that Ag Land is compatible with Solar, Wind and BESS.

Special Permits are how they get approval to start their project.

Big renewable energy companies fund campaigns throughout Nebraska and hire lawyers to work with County Boards to change the zoning laws.

Please oppose this government overreach by writing an online letter or attend the public hearing on WEDNESDAY, JULY 23RD AT 1:00 in room 112 of the County-City Building, 555 South 10th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.

This woman is an absolute empty shell. She rattles off the same lines over and over again and says absolutely nothing because she knows absolutely nothing. What frightens me is that her elite handlers chose her as the candidate because I believe they are convinced they can make her the president, regardless of who votes for her. They made her the candidate without a single vote so why wouldn’t it work to put her in the White House. This is the arrogance of evil.
