This morning's plan to work on my ballistic chart for the .20GPC took a different turn after spotting a nice badger off the main road on the way in. It took a total of 3 shots to get sighted-in, then a few groups after that for some fine-tuning and I was back on the road to look for the badger. I got to the area and started glassing, when I spotted it on a mound. I ranged him at 168 yards, then settled in for the shot off the back of my truck (sandbags). It was on the mound, facing to the left, when he lifted his head and looked my way. I put a round into his shoulder and he spun to bite at it. I noticed a large hole behind him, so not taking any chances, I put another one into him (though further investigation showed it was unnecessary).

I was shooting 39 grain Sierra Bullets Blitzkings.
