Another great weekend for your Freeland Lady Firehawks! 💚🥎🤍

All three teams — 8u, 10u, and 12u — battled hard all weekend long and represented Freeland with toughness, energy, and heart every time they stepped on the field. From big hits and great defensive plays to nonstop hustle, these girls left it all out there every game.

Our 8u squad ran into a tough matchup in bracket play today, but continued to battle until the final out. This young group keeps improving every tournament and continues gaining valuable experience while showing incredible hustle and teamwork. The future is bright for these Firehawks! 🔥

The 10u and 12u teams both put together outstanding weekends, battling through strong competition and earning spots in their Championship Games. Both teams finished the weekend as Tournament Runner-Ups and brought home some hardware for Freeland! 🏆

The 10u Bay Plumbing & Heating Players of the Weekend were:
🔥 Riley — for outstanding defense all weekend long
🔥 Alaina — finishing with 5 hits and 5 RBIs
🔥 Peyten — scoring 6 runs during the tournament
🔥 Kaitlyn — adding 5 RBIs of her own

The 10u girls continue to prove they can compete with anyone, while the 12u team showed resilience, grit, and determination throughout the entire weekend with multiple big-time performances on both sides of the ball.

So proud of every player, coach, and family that continues to support this program. The hard work, dedication, and team-first mentality continue to show every single weekend.

Both the 10U and 12U Lady Firehawks are headed to the Championship Game in Sanford and ready to battle one more time! These girls have fought hard all weekend long, showing grit, heart, and what it means to compete as a team.

🔥 CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY TOMORROW FOR THE FREELAND LADY FIREHAWKS! 🔥💚🤍

All of our Lady Firehawks teams battled hard today in pool play and represented Freeland with grit, hustle, and heart! 🥎

🥎 8U fought hard all day going 1-1 aginst some tough match ups and is back at it tomorrow in Davison against Brighton Black at 10:30 AM!

💥 10U stayed HOT, going undefeated in pool play and earning the #1 seed heading into bracket play for the THIRD TOURNAMENT IN A ROW! This squad keeps rolling and will play Sunday at 11:30 AM at Sanford Village Park Field 7! 🔥👀

🥎 12U went 1-1 on the day with a huge 12-1 win over the Lady Batmen and a tough battle against USA Pride that ended 6-5. They’re right back in action Sunday at 9:45 AM at Sanford Village Park Field 3!

🏆 Both 10U and 12U are one win away from punching their ticket to the championship game!

The Freeland Lady Firehawks came out ready to battle today in bracket play! Huge weekend for these girls and a lot to be proud of.

🥎 8U fought their way to the Championship Game and brought home a 2nd place finish!
🥎 10U also battled their way into the Championship Game and brought home some hardware with a 2nd place finish!
🥎 12U and 13U battled hard all weekend in bracket play and left it all on the field.

Every single girl played their hearts out this weekend and represented Freeland the right way — with grit, toughness, teamwork, and pride. From the first pitch to the final out, these girls competed hard and never backed down.

And a huge shoutout to all the moms this Mother’s Day weekend — the loudest cheerleaders, the early morning drivers, the snack moms, the ones washing uniforms late at night, and the women who support these girls every step of the way. We appreciate everything you do! ❤️🥎🔥
