We’re looking for outstanding Middle School & High School Taekwondo student-athletes who represent:

CHARACTER • ACADEMICS • LEADERSHIP

Athletes may nominate themselves, or be nominated by a:

Parent • Coach • Friend • Instructor • School Owner • Teacher • Teammate

To enter:

1. Follow NCTA
2. Submit the student-athlete nomination
3. Tell us why they represent Character, Academics & Leadership
4. Tag 5 people who should nominate a deserving student-athlete next

Selected athletes will become official NCTA Student-Athlete Ambassadors and receive recognition, leadership opportunities, exclusive Ambassador gear, community-service opportunities, and eligibility for future scholarships.

We are excited to announce that for the 2026–2027 season, NCTA Highschool Circuit will be expanding opportunities for student-athletes with:

🇺🇸 NCTA HIGHSCHOOL MIDDLE SCHOOL CIRCUIT — LEADERS WANTED

The NCTA High School & Middle School Circuit is expanding across the United States, and we are looking for passionate leaders to help us grow.

We are actively seeking State and Regional Administrators to help organize, develop, and run NCTA events throughout the country.

This is about more than competition. Our mission is to create opportunities for student-athletes while promoting:

ACADEMICS • CHARACTER • LEADERSHIP

If you have experience in Taekwondo, event organization, coaching, school athletics, or simply have the passion and leadership to help inspire the next generation of student-athletes, we want to hear from you.

Help us build a national circuit where athletes can represent their schools, compete at the State, Regional, and National level, earn recognition and scholarship opportunities, and become leaders on and off the mat.

As we send our children back to school, it’s a big transition for them—and for us as parents, too. ❤️

Whether you’re holding the hand of your little one heading into school for the first time, encouraging a middle schooler finding their confidence, or watching your high schooler take another step toward their future, this season brings plenty of excitement, nerves, pride…and maybe a few tears.

Our children look to us more than we realize. The confidence, positivity, and resilience we model at home can help shape the way they approach the classroom, friendships, activities, and new challenges.

The NCTA National High School Championships is about more than competition—it’s about investing in the future of our student-athletes. We are proud to announce that $12,000 in scholarships was awarded to deserving high school and middle school students who have demonstrated excellence both on and off the competition floor. These scholarships recognize not only athletic achievement, but also academic success, leadership, character, and commitment to their communities.

As we reflect on the success of the NCTA National High School Championships, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Dan Chuang, President of the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association, for entrusting Master Park’s Black Belt America with the opportunity to host this incredible event at Fight Ready NJ. We would also like to thank our outstanding tournament committee—Sunny Park, Caitlin Park, Viet Nguyen, Jisung Yun, and Mingyu Yoo—for their countless hours of planning, organization, and dedication. One of the most meaningful aspects of this championship was the opportunity to provide scholarships to deserving student-athletes. Creating educational opportunities through taekwondo is essential to the continued growth of our sport, as it rewards excellence both on and off the mat and helps develop the next generation of leaders.
