The NCTA National High School Championships is about more than competition—it’s about investing in the future of our student-athletes. We are proud to announce that $12,000 in scholarships was awarded to deserving high school and middle school students who have demonstrated excellence both on and off the competition floor. These scholarships recognize not only athletic achievement, but also academic success, leadership, character, and commitment to their communities.
As we reflect on the success of the NCTA National High School Championships, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Dan Chuang, President of the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association, for entrusting Master Park’s Black Belt America with the opportunity to host this incredible event at Fight Ready NJ. We would also like to thank our outstanding tournament committee—Sunny Park, Caitlin Park, Viet Nguyen, Jisung Yun, and Mingyu Yoo—for their countless hours of planning, organization, and dedication. One of the most meaningful aspects of this championship was the opportunity to provide scholarships to deserving student-athletes. Creating educational opportunities through taekwondo is essential to the continued growth of our sport, as it rewards excellence both on and off the mat and helps develop the next generation of leaders.
