As 2025 draws to a close, let’s pause to commemorate the unforgettable inaugural season of SWIPPA. From the sweltering Southwestern Illinois summer to the icy depths of the Prairie State winter, a humble garage became a battlefield, and a folding table became a field of honor. Six competitors embarked on a sixteen‑week odyssey. This is the story of the 2025 Paramount Wealth Management Cup.

Sh**un — 51–3 (153 points)
Every season has a titan, but 2025 had a Sh**un. With a record that defied belief and a dominant presence that bent the league to his will, Sh**un sliced through the competition like a warrior poet — a troubadour of discipline, power, and ruthless efficiency.
Fifty‑one victories.
Three defeats.
Not merely a dominant campaign… but historic.
In SWIPPA, legends are earned. Sh**un took his by force.

Magnum — 30–18 (96 points)
Behind the champion stood Magnum — the gunslinger of the league. A player who lived on the edge, firing forehands with the confidence of a man who never met a rally he didn’t like.
Thirty wins.
Eighteen losses.
A season of firepower, flair, and the kind of swagger that keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats. Magnum didn’t just play the game — he put a charge into it.

Freight Train — 20–17 (69 points)
While some players glide, the Freight Train rumbles. It was a season defined by momentum — sometimes slow to start, sometimes impossible to stop. With a winning record and a reputation for grinding out long rallies, Freight Train lived up to his name:
Heavy. Relentless. Unavoidable.
When he got rolling… you got out of the way.

Tornado — 15–14 (47 points)
Then came Tornado — unpredictable, swirling, and capable of changing direction in an instant.
A nearly even record masked a season of chaos and brilliance. One moment, the calm before the storm; the next, a blur of spinning fury. Tornado didn’t just show up and play matches — he changed the climate.

KDawg — 6–47 (29 points)
Every league has its fighter — the one who refuses to quit, no matter the odds. In 2025, that was KDawg.
Six wins.
Forty‑seven losses.
But every week, he showed up. Every week, he believed. And most importantly, every week, he brought snacks.
In SWIPPA, heart counts — and KDawg had a truckload.

Skinny — 0–23 (2 points)
And finally… there’s Skinny.
A season without a victory, but not without accomplishments. In a league of giants, Skinny stood tall in the only way that mattered — by stepping up to the table again and again when lesser men would have folded. Skinny’s pong game may be lightweight, but his will to improve is morbidly obese. We expect big things from him in the future.

And that’s a wrap for 2025
Six players.
Six journeys.
Six stories written in sweat, spin, and stubborn determination.
But in the end… only one stood above them all.
The 2025 Paramount Wealth Management Cup belongs to Sh**un — the champion of champions in a season that will echo through SWIPPA lore for years to come.
Because in this league…
Every point matters. Every rally tells a story. And every season becomes a legend.

As we pause to give thanks, let us take a moment to reflect on 13 glorious weeks of SWIPPA competition. With one month to go in the race for the Paramount Wealth Management Cup here's how the warriors of pong have carved their destinies into the SWIPPA standings.”

Sh**un (39–3, 117 points)
“A dynasty in motion. Relentless. Precise. Sh**un stands atop the mountain, a master of the blade and ball, cutting through opponents with ruthless efficiency.”

Magnum (22–14, 71 points)
“The challenger. Powerful, unyielding, a player whose name evokes firepower. Magnum’s shots thunder across the table, keeping him firmly in second place.”

Freight Train (15–14, 53 points)
“Momentum incarnate. Once rolling, impossible to stop. Freight Train barrels through the league, grinding out victories with sheer force.”

Tornado (12–9, 37 points)
“A storm on the rise. Whirling unpredictably, Tornado spins chaos into triumph, leaving opponents scrambling in his wake.”

Kdawg (4–37, 20 points)
“The scrapper. Outmatched but undeterred. Kdawg fights with grit, clawing for every point, every rally, refusing to bow to defeat.”

Skinny (0–15, 1 point)
“The struggler. Winless, yet present. Skinny’s battles are not measured in victories, but in resilience—the courage to return to the table, week after week.”

Cotton McKnight: “Welcome to Thursday Night Ping Pong, folks—where the only thing faster than the action is Sh**un’s paddle. And let me tell you, Pepper, the man was undefeated. That’s right—3 and 0, baby! He’s slicing forehands like a hibachi chef on his 3rd Red Bull.”

Pepper Brooks: “It’s a bold strategy, Cotton. And it’s working! Sh**un is now 8 points ahead in the Paramount Wealth Management Cup standings. I didn't know it was possible in ping pong but he's actually started to lap some of the other players..

Cotton: “Speaking of KDawg, he went 0–3 on the night. That’s zero wins, Pepper. The only thing colder than his record was the draft coming from the duel AC units at Paramount Wealth Management Court.”

Pepper: “Ouch! In other sad news Freight Train managed to derail KDawg, but then got rerouted by Sh**un and Magnum. One win, two losses. That’s not exactly express service.”

Cotton: “And Magnum—oh, Magnum. The man’s got a paddle like a revolver. He went 2–1, falling only to Sh**un in a match so intense, I swear I saw sparks fly off the table.”

Pepper: “Skinny and Tornado were absent again. Another week of unknown whereabouts and unconfirmed rumors.”

Cotton: “Next week promises more drama, more spin, and hopefully fewer excuses. Until then, remember: in SWIPPA, ping pong isn’t just a game—it’s a lifestyle. And that's the way the little ball bounces”

In the early evening hours of Thursday September 4th a frigid Arctic front was slowly drifting southward into the heartland of America. In the skies above Paramount Wealth Management Court the icy breath of the great white north mingled with the warm, sultry breezes of the tropical Gulf of America, the result was a volatile cocktail of fire and ice. A catastrophe so profound that it could push the atmosphere of the Earth itself to the breaking point. Suddenly, a deluge of smashes and spins were unleashed in a raging storm of lightning reflexes and thunderous impacts.

After a three-week silence, the Tornado touched down with fury of an F5 in his paddle, funneling every match into his win column. Two victories. No loses. Sh**un and KDawg were swept away with the rubble as the league’s most unpredictable force reclaimed his place in the standings, rising out the cellar to post a perfect record... For now.
Meanwhile, Magnum and Freight Train were nowhere to be found, perhaps seeking refuge in a nearby shelter until the storm passed. Their absence may have spared their pride, but it will cost them dearly in the standings. In the PWMC, every point matters, and Thursday night was a feast that Tornado devoured alone.

Sh**un, the league’s stoic and steadfast warrior, split the night—falling to Tornado but rebounding against KDawg to hold onto his perch atop the leaderboard, six points clear of Magnum. KDawg, still searching for rhythm, went winless again, his season and his confidence teetering on the brink.
And somewhere out in the darkness, Skinny remains absent. Rumors of his return swirl like smoke from the embers of a smoldering autumn firepit, but until that day, the league marches on.

Beneath the late summer sun, where a vast ocean of corn-covered prairie meets the tranquil blush of ripening peach orchards, the Old Urbana Fieldhouse stands like a monument to grit and glory. Inside, at Paramount Wealth Management Court, the air hangs heavy with heat—and heavier still with ambition.
Magnum, the high-caliber assassin of the table, carved his name into history with a performance for the ages: three wins, no mercy. His final act? Dismantling Sh**un’s eight-match unbeaten streak in straight sets, and trimming the lead in the Paramount Wealth Management Cup to a razor-thin three points.
Sh**un, the reigning titan, tasted defeat for the first time all season—but still clawed out a 2–1 record, his resolve unshaken.
Freight Train sputtered on the tracks, managing just one win—a hard-fought victory over KDawg, who found no traction, going 0–3 in a night that tested his mettle.
Tornado and Skinny? Ghosts in the standings once again, their absence feeling like a silent storm on the horizon that never arrives.
Now, as we head into the heart of the season, the PWM Cup remains up for grabs. The leaderboard tightens. The tension builds. Because in this league, legends aren’t born—they’re earned, one rally at a time.

Under the florescent glow of Paramount Wealth Management Court, where the echoes of plastic spheres ricochet like thunderclaps across the hardwood, last Thursday night unfolded as a saga of unbreakable wills and shattered dreams. The SWIPPA league, that gritty crucible of table tennis titans, bore witness to a performance for the ages—a night where one man ascended to the pantheon of ping pong legends, while others grappled with the unforgiving sting of fate. Amid the haze of competition, the Paramount Wealth Management Cup standings hung in the balance, a trophy forged in the fires of relentless rallies and unyielding resolve.

Enter Sh**un, the indomitable warrior of the paddle, his blade sliced through the opposition with the precision of a samurai's strike. Three matches, three victories—each one a masterpiece of dominance, not a single set surrendered to the encroaching shadows of defeat. He dismantled his foes with spins that twisted like serpents and smashes that boomed like heavy artillery, extending his lead in the Cup standings to a commanding six points. Sh**un's undefeated night wasn't just a win; it was a proclamation, a thunderous decree that echoed through the halls of SWIPPA: the throne is his, and challengers beware.

Yet, in the undercurrents of glory, tales of heroism and hardship intertwined. Magnum, the steadfast contender, charged into the fray with the heart of a lion, claiming two triumphs from the jaws of adversity—his sole blemish a noble fall to the unbeatable Sh**un. Freight Train, that rumbling force of nature, chugged through turbulence, emerging with but one conquest over the resilient KDawg, his 1-2 ledger a testament to the brutal grind of the PWMC schedule. And KDawg himself, though winless at 0-3, reigned supreme in the art of the anecdote, spinning yarns between points that captivated the crowd like ancient epics, proving that victory wears many disguises. Meanwhile, Tornado and Skinny vanished into the night, no-shows perhaps cowering somewhere in the darkness, their absence lingers like a storm cloud over the league's horizon.

As the lights faded on this epic Thursday clash, the SWIPPA faithful were left to ponder the unyielding march of destiny. Sh**un stands atop the mountain, but the winds of change whisper of comebacks and reckonings. In the world of ping pong, where every bounce is a battle cry, the Paramount Wealth Management Cup gleams brighter than ever—a beacon calling warriors back to the table for the glory of next week's chapter.

In the sweltering heat of a Southwestern Illinois summer night, one man stood alone at the table. They called him The Sh**un—a warrior not of sword and steel, but of paddle and spin. With the precision of a samurai and the fury of a blitzing linebacker, he carved through his tormented victims like a hot knife through grass-fed butter.

Four matches. Four victories. Eight sets claimed, only one surrendered. Each rally a battle. Each point a conquest. His serves whispered like secrets in the wind; his smashes roared like thunder on the plains. But this was more than dominance. This was a declaration. The gauntlet has been thrown down and the competition has been put on notice.

With this unbeaten run, The Sh**un now stands as the early leader in pursuit of the Paramount Wealth Management Cup—a trophy not given, but earned through grit, grace, and relentless precision. Others will rise. Challenges will come. But for now, the path to glory runs through the mysterious warrior known only as the SH**UN!
