We are over the moon excited to welcome Remeny “Rem” Perez to the UNITY family! Rem will serve our athletes in the role of Director of Recruiting & NIL Partnerships.
As Director of Recruiting and NIL Partnerships, Rem will:
* Lead recruiting education and strategy for athletes and families
* Serve as a direct resource for uncommitted and committed athletes navigating the recruiting process
* Oversee Unity recruiting initiatives, including calls, workshops, and athlete evaluations
* Build and manage college coach relationships and exposure pathways
* Guide athletes through NIL education, brand positioning, and partnership opportunities
* Collaborate with Unity leadership
Remeny “Rem” Perez is a former Division I softball player at the University of Illinois and currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.
Remeny brings a wealth of experience, having coached at the high school, junior college, and travel ball levels. Throughout her coaching career, she has worked closely with athletes and their families to navigate the recruiting process. Her professionalism and commitment to athlete development have allowed her to build strong relationships and earn trust throughout the collegiate softball community.
Remeny is passionate about educating athletes and families to provide clarity and confidence during the recruiting journey. She assists athletes in maximizing their exposure and building their personal brands, including guidance on potential NIL opportunities.
Outside of softball, Remeny enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and mentoring athletes both on and off the field.
Remeny fills a critical need in today’s ever-evolving NCAA recruiting landscape. She will elevate the player experience while upholding the UNITY standard and fostering a culture of leadership within travel softball.
