Learning how to work out is like getting training wheels for learning new skills. It teaches you to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. You become comfortable with failure. You're going to mess up but you learn from those mistakes. You aren't going to master it overnight, but you will get more skilled over time.

Skills can be a very broad term. Skills could mean socializing or mental strength. You can learn how to socialize better. You will mess up at times but you learn what works and what doesn't. Often our minds can be negative. You can learn how to overcome the mental blocks and discipline yourself.

If you're stuck and don't know what to do with yourself, exercising is a great way to start. The rest will come. You got this!

Our habits have such a huge impact on our lives. If you eat fast food every day for a month, and then you don't for a day, you'll feel like crap. If you don't eat fast food for a month and then you do, you'll feel like crap. Same goes for any habit.

If you want to cut out a daily habit, try doing it every other day for a month, then cut back more. If you want a new habit, try doing it 3 times a week for a month. After a month it won't even feel forced anymore.

You know what you have to do. You just have to execute.

When I switched my dog's water from tap to filtered I noticed I rarely ever see mold in it anymore. There used to be mold in it every two or three refills. I rarely ever see it now. Yeah it takes a few minutes but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have 5 spare minutes once a month to do this. Plus it's worth it and he'd do the same for me 🙂 Avoid tap water as much as you can. Get some kind of filter if you don't already.

Hey all! Personal training is something I didn't think I would love as much as I have been since I started. It's really taken over my life in all of the best ways.
A little bit about me: I struggled gaining weight for years. In my first 9 months of working out at a gym I was able to put on 30 pounds of mostly muscle. Some things I used to struggle with a lot were depression, sleep, and confidence. Exercising and nutrition has definitely been a huge part of addressing those issues. I like to focus on not just what we do at the gym but also what we do outside of the gym. Mental and physical health go hand and hand. We can only spend so much time exercising. We have to take care of ourselves outside of the gym just as hard as we do in the gym.
I am more than glad to coach you through your health journey!
