Hockey Night is coming to Nymeo Field on Friday, July 10! 🏒

We're teaming up with the Washington Capitals for a night packed with can't-miss fun featuring appearances by Capitals legend Mike Green, Frederick native and American Paralympian and three-time Paralympic Gold Medal-winning ice sled hockey player Noah Grove, the Capitals Street Team, and Slapshot!

We are excited to host Frederick Gargoyles First Shift: Try Special Hockey Event, a free opportunity for athletes with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities to experience ice hockey in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Whether you’ve never stepped on the ice before or are looking for a new team experience, we’d love to welcome you!

🚨Discover the excitement of Special Hockey

Join us at Skate Frederick on August 8th and take your First Shift!

11:55am ice time
Please arrive 30 minutes prior for waivers and equipment.

Helmets, Sticks, and Skate Rentals will be provided.
*Participants need to bring their own winter gloves for this event*
