Great weekend racing. Mom and dad celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary driving to the track, setting up our pit area and watching the pedal bike race.
During quad prep Saturday night the chain on Eastonās quad needed replaced, which we didnāt have on hand. Brad came to the rescue with a replacement and Tamin helped with install but that didnāt take care of the grinding noise. We discovered after further investigation that the transmission bearing was worn out and needed replaced. Again, a part we didnāt have, and neither did Brad, but he called a few other race families and someone had the part! Got everything together and went to bed. Only to find the rear wheels wouldnāt spin š„“ With Bradās help yet again, crisis was solved. Brad we owe you for your unwavering support each race weekend!
Both kiddos made it through their motos without incident and had an absolute blast out on the track! Their track friend group is growing as we continue to meet families each race weekend.
Also- shout out to Melissa for the ride to the atm and Audrey for the mini propane tank when ours ran out mid dinner prep!
