Last night definitely stings.

Ran our last race of the year at Tri City Raceway Park last night for the 9th annual Ray’s Race.

Off the trailer the car was a rocket.
We were able to set fast time which was sponsored by Team Blair Racing and got $111 for that so thank you to them for sponsoring that!!

Then we started P1 in the heat and fended everyone off to win Heat 1 sponsored by our very own BBAD which was a really cool moment to say the least.

Redrew 5th which I was okay with being that it was a longer race I wanted to have everyone else set the pace.

About 10 laps in the car started to come to life and after about 4 cautions and 20 or so laps I was able to mount a charge to lead.

Got up to lead and held on and was flying…. the car had came to life and just needed to hang on for 10 more, then the yellow came out, and I just couldn’t hang on to the top spot on the last restart.

A very very well deserved victory for Jackson Humanic! Glad to see him win, we raced around eachother a lot and it was very respectful and fun racing.

But… now we move on. With Tricity being done for the year the 07 still has atleast 2 more races on the schedule.

The next one being The “Apple Festival Nationals” at Sharon Speedway.

I am beyond thrilled to be going to Sharon, this is going to be a massive learning opportunity on a track that some would say is one of trickiest surfaces out there.
