As we are celebrating Black History Month, we wanted to point out some incredible facts.

The Lady Hornets didn’t just win a championship — they made history in ways that will impact their school for years to come. This season marked the FIRST, Black female Coach not only in our programs history but Coach Alijah also becomes the FIRST Black female coach to lead a team to a championship title.
Sin’yai Collins also becomes the FIRST Black female student-athlete to earn Tournament MVP.

Representation matters, and this weekend our girls not only become Champs but they also made history. We celebrate this moment not only as champions on the court, but as part of a larger story of progress, perseverance, and purpose. The standard has been raised — and history has been written. 💙💛🏀🐝🤎
