Our first stop of the 2026 season with The Modified Racing Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s Northeast Classic weekend could be quickly summarized as a notebook building day. After thrashing all week to get the car ready, we unloaded with solid speed right out of the box. The car felt competitive in the heat race, jumping out to an early lead. However, our time out front would be short lived as things got a little close for comfort going door-to-door for the lead and we got just high enough to get out of the grove in turn 4, losing all track position.

Come feature time, we started 15th on the 16 car grid and made a charge up to 9th in the early going, taking advantage of some great speed on the starts and restarts. We were able to settle in and log some laps, fighting a loose condition as we may have over-adjusted just a bit, chasing low stagger numbers during practice. As we logged laps Ryan found a line that helped work through the loose condition, and began running down 7th and 8th place before the competition caution on lap 30. A couple laps before the yellow Ryan reported some movement in the rear of the car, and during the pit stop we found the rear track bar disconnected on the inside end and jammed between the quick-change and the frame. The crew worked hard to get it repaired, but by the time everything was back in place, we were two laps down. Not feeling 100% confident in the repair, and given the size and speed of the track, we made the decision to park it for the day, earning a 12th place finish. All in all, a solid day of learning at probably the toughest stop on our schedule.

We have plenty of prep time before our next race at Lee USA Speedway on June 12th with the Modified Racing Series.

Huge thank you to our crew—Joe, Sam, George, Jayden, Kaylee, and Billy—for all their hard work this weekend.

NEW ONE-DAY SATURDAY SHOWCASE FOR THE NORTHEAST CLASSIC AT NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Forecasted Showers Friday and Sunday Make for a Super Saturday at the Magic Mile

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — April 14, 2026 — Officials with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have been forced to make changes to the schedule of the 6th Annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway due to forecasted showers on Friday and Sunday. That said, Officials have opted to build a one-day show on Saturday, April 18 with a 1:00pm start time. Teams and campers will still be able to arrive on site starting at 4:00pm Friday for camping and early pit parking until 7:00pm.

Following a perfect weather weekend at Thompson Speedway for the annual Icebreaker, ACT and PASS officials were optimistic for a clear start to the season but Mother Nature has made other plans. With several meteorological sites calling for heavy downpours on Friday and Sunday, Officials have opted to make the 6th Annual Northeast Classic into a one day show on Saturday.

Pit Gates will open at 6:30am for teams to begin preparations for the day with Grandstands open at 9:30am alongside the start of practice. Racing will begin at 1:00pm with qualifying events. All divisions will get three rounds of practice. With the schedule change, the 604 Modifieds have been dropped from the event due to time constraints, and Friday’s early parking between 4:00pm and 7:00pm remains on the schedule.

The Pit Booth will be open Friday, April 17 between 4:00pm and 7:00pm to pre-sell pit passes ahead of Saturday’s early morning opening. Parking for campers and race teams will also be available between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday.

“This is by no means a decision we take lightly as we make every effort to get this event in to start our season,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “Saturday’s forecast is much more optimistic and we’re looking forward to getting our teams another great experience on the Magic Mile.”

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will kick off the 2026 season at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the 6th annual Northeast Classic on Saturday, April 18. Complete with the PASS Super Late Models, Modified Racing Series, R&R Street Stock Open Series and Pro Truck Challenge, the Northeast Classic will once again give Northeast racers their chance to take on our region’s great palace of stock car racing on Saturday, April 18.
