Weekend Recap 🏁
Friday – Kankakee Speedway
Jason took the new car out for its first run. We had a few carb issues during qualifying and the heat race, which started us 10th in the feature. Despite that, Jason drove a solid race and brought it home in 5th! Car ran great and looked even better 🔥
Saturday – Shadyhill Speedway
Kaleb finished 2nd in the heat, which should’ve started him 4th in the feature—but for some reason, we were lined up 3rd. He held strong in 3rd for about 12 laps, but after multiple cautions, we slipped back to 5th. Then things got weird…
After the final caution, a car spun behind us, but officials gave that car our 5th spot and moved us back to 7th. With just 3 laps left, Kaleb ended up finishing 8th. Not the result we were hoping for, but we’ll regroup and come back stronger
Kaleb absolutely enjoyed seeing all the kiddos and giving them his autograph 🏁
