We are excited to announce that our entire 2026 roster is returning for 2027! Because all of our current players have committed to coming back, we will no longer be holding the tryouts that were scheduled for July 21st & 23rd.

What a great summer season. The girls could not get their bats going this last game before the championship game, but defensively they were on fire. They went against a team that had a record of 39 games won this summer season and 16 losses. Only giving up 3 runs the whole game.
Great parents, kids, and coaches! We are ready for our 11u season and to come out stronger than ever! 💪🥎🥎🥎

Newport Underground 10U 10U Cling To Victory As Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U Nearly Erase 6-Run Deficit

Newport Underground 10U 10U got out to a 6-run lead in the second inning and held on for a 7-5 victory over Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U on Sunday. Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U closed the gap by scoring on a single and a ground out.

Newport Underground 10U 10U were the first to get on the board in the first when Finley M lined out, scoring one run.

Newport Underground 10U 10U scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Maria H drew a walk, scoring one run, Audrey B drew a walk, scoring one run, and Lilly J singled, scoring one run.

Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U scored five runs on one hit in the bottom of the second inning. Charlotte T singled, scoring three runs, and Teagan B grounded out, scoring two runs.

A ground out by Finley extended the Newport Underground 10U 10U lead to 7-5 in the top of the third inning.

Ashlyn K pitched three innings in relief for Newport Underground 10U 10U. The righty gave up zero hits and zero runs while, striking out five and walking three. Lilly led things off in the circle for Newport Underground 10U 10U. The righty surrendered one hit and five runs (two earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking two. Lainey S opened the game for Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and six runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking seven.

Lilly led Newport Underground 10U 10U with one run batted in. The leadoff hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Lilly and Ashlyn each collected one hit for Newport Underground 10U 10U. Jae’lyn B paced Newport Underground 10U 10U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Jacelin H, Kyndall L, Jae’lyn, Maria, Izzy H, and Adley B each stole multiple bases for Newport Underground 10U 10U. Newport Underground 10U 10U stole 21 bases in the game.

Teagan and Charlotte each drove in one run for Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U. Charlotte went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U in hits. Skyler C paced Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game. Teagan, Skyler, Adlee P, and Chloe C each stole multiple bases for Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U. Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U ran wild on the base paths, collecting 11 stolen bases for the game. Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U turned one double play in the game. Indiana Shockwaves Berry 9U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tatum B had the most chances in the field with five.

Our girls were up in their second game during pool play today when a down pour occurred! The rest of the games were cancelled today, so therefore out to eat for some team bonding time to end the day!

Newport Underground 10U 10U Hold Onto Victory As Indiana Lightning 10U Almost Erase 5-Run Deficit

Newport Underground 10U 10U got out to a 5-run lead in the second inning and held on for a 9-8 victory over Indiana Lightning 10U on Saturday. Indiana Lightning 10U closed the gap by scoring on a ground out, an error, a double play, a double, and a ground out.

Indiana Lightning 10U jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Emersyn S doubled, scoring two runs, and Mayzi R singled, scoring one run.

Newport Underground 10U 10U flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring eight runs on one hit to take the lead, 8-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Juni B following a 6-pitch at-bat that drove in three.

A steal of home by Jacelin H extended the Newport Underground 10U 10U lead to 9-6 in the top of the third inning.

Finley M stepped in the circle first for Newport Underground 10U 10U. The pitcher allowed nine hits and eight runs (six earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Baylor G led things off in the circle for Indiana Lightning 10U. The pitcher surrendered two hits and two runs over two and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none.

Jacelin and Juni each collected one hit for Newport Underground 10U 10U. Juni led Newport Underground 10U 10U with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-2 on the day. Jacelin, Kyndall L, Maria H, Izzy H, Ashlyn K, and Adley B each stole multiple bases for Newport Underground 10U 10U. Newport Underground 10U 10U worked the count all day, tallying six walks. Newport Underground 10U 10U stole 18 bases in the game. Newport Underground 10U 10U turned one double play in the game.

Indiana Lightning 10U amassed nine hits in the game. Emersyn provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Indiana Lightning 10U with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-2 on the day.
