Praying for the family of a fellow Blackhawks coach. 🖤 💙

Heartbroken to share that our former Coach Benschoter has passed away unexpectedly. His love for the game was evident in every minute he gave. Though his time actively coaching within our travel organization is now part of our cherished history, the passion he had—for the strategy, the hustle, the pure joy of playing and teaching—lives on. Mike donated countless hours not for recognition, but because he just loved softball.

Heaven has gained a coach who truly lived for the love of the game. Thank you for every moment of inspiration. Your memory—and that passion—lives on in every game we play. Our hearts are with your family. 🙏🦅🥎💙

Blackhawks Blitz finished their season on Saturday at Field of Screams in Kenton going 3-1 on the day for runners up! The growth these girls showed on the field was amazing but what I loved to see most as a parent and a coach is that they weren’t just a brand new softball team yesterday. Each girl showed up team-first minded. I watched rhem all day building each other up and cheering each other on. It took until our last tournament but they are learning to like and trust each other and I cannot tell you how excited I am to feed and grow that team energy each week moving forward. Big things ahead for these baby Blackhawks! Watch and see!! 🥎 🫶🏼💙🖤

Blackhawks took the show on the road to New Washington today for a double header at Buckeye Rec Park. We brought our bats, scoring 45 runs in a total of 12 innings! This team is special because each and every player is so talented! We’re looking like a softball team and ready to come out swinging at the 10th Annual Fall Lightning Strikes tournament next weekend in HEATH! It’s a good fay to be a Blackhawk! 💙🖤

Game 1- Oakley Smith #1 for a solid performance at pitcher. Great throws made for the outs and multiple pop ups caught!
Game 2- Kenzlee Lawrence for aggressive baserunnimg and good coverage at 2!
