Trey… where do we begin! This kids heart, hustle, and excitement for the game is unmatched. We love having him as an athlete and his improvement over the past two years has been incredible to watch! We are all rooting for a quick recovery and can’t wait to watch you back out on the court soon!
PS. This kid tried to play with a broken knee, so if that doesn’t tell you what type of player he is idk what else will! Get well soon Trey!

We are not defined by our wins and loses but more so on how we bounce back from those hardships and how we react in those moments of triumph. The boys learned some very valuable lessons this weekend and we continue to put the work in to reach our own goals. Not the goals of others but our own we set out to achieve from the beginning of this. Each day learn, each day get better, each day get closer to making a high school basketball team. We started from the bottom and now we compete with the local AAU programs. Some teams still have our number and that’s ok, we lose with dignity and get right back on that horse! I love these boys, and can’t wait to watch them compete at the high school level. Some highlights to come later this week!

Proud of our 7th grade boys today, they were down some players in their early game and still almost pulled out the win. 2 OT loss to the Wild, and then a back and forth battle we ultimately lost against the Lumberjacks. Great day of learning, evaluating, and understanding. We grow from our losses and we move forward. It’s never about the result but the end goal with this group. Keep pushing! 💪🏻

2 pools, 4 games… 4 wins and 2 medals! Great job boys I couldn’t be more proud of this group. Played some very tough competition from San Jose and Davis this morning and they played ball the right way. They work hard, they all get along and they continue to push each other to be the best they can be. So much fun this weekend but lots to continue to improve upon! On to the next!

Boys had a lot of fun last weekend in Redding, played some tough games and learned a lot in the process. Basketball is a game of runs and while we didn’t win every game we played we still came away with a better understanding of the game and will continue to grow. A motto we follow is that as long as you’re better than the day before then you’re moving in the right direction. Redding down, Sacramento next. 💪🏻
