💣💣 ‼️ Bomb Squad Alert ‼️ 💣💣

Introducing your Spring Championship homerun crew. This isn’t just your average homerun post, this is a group of ladies that were destroying softballs, and doing it with a lot of teammates on base! Congrats to Hana Wernet on her first career over the fence homerun. Congrats to Ivy, Kirra, and Keagan, all hitting 2 homeruns and 1 grand slam each.

Ivy Martinez #15 - 2 homeruns and 1 grand slam
Kirra Wilkins #13 - 2 homeruns and 1 grand slam
Keagan Kakalecik #3 - 2 homeruns and 1 grand slam
Hana Wernet #20 - first career homerun

Keep up the hard work ladies! This weekend cost me $150 in balls but if you tell me we will hit 10 bombs every weekend, I’ll write a check out for $150 right now!

NTFCA Spring Championships 3rd place finish overall out of 32 teams. These ladies had finished in first place in their previous 4 tournaments but came up a little short this weekend. It wasn’t our cleanest ball of the Spring but there is no quit in this group. They got down and just kept battling back. We are super proud of their collective efforts this Spring and are ready to dive into the summer! Thanks to our Impact Gold NTX director for coming out and supporting these ladies. Thanks to Kaydence Thomas for making the trip out to support her teammates even though she is due for knee surgery in two weeks. Team chemistry and support is important if you want to play here! Great job ladies and parents and congrats to Glory RWB and Epic 3031 on a solid tournament finish! Next up, Impact Gold Warmup in College Station.

Summer is right around the corner and with the success our girls have had in the Spring, we had to make a few adjustments to the schedule! We are looking forward to an action packed finish to the spring and ready to jump into the Summer. After earning a berth into the Top Club National Championship, our next goal is set on qualifying for the AFCS nationals in Indiana. Fasten your seatbelts!

📣 MVP….MVP…MVP…MVP 📣

Introducing your Top Club National Super 32 tournament MVP….Keagan Kakalecik (Aledo 2030). While they had plenty of options for tournament MVP, Keagan was dialed in at the plate and in the circle. Keagan batted .444 on the weekend with a .400 OBP. She had 2 doubles, 2 triples, 2 sac flys, was second in RBI’s, and had two at bats where she saw at least 10 pitches. Both of those at bats came at important times in the game and she ended up winning both at-bats. In the circle I think she would pitch every game if you let her. Keagan started 3 games but also came in as relief when needed. She was getting stronger and stronger as the tournament went on and her confidence was soaring. Keagan pitched 15 innings, racked up 8 strikeouts, and opponents batted .297 against her. An incredible weekend all around for this one and more importantly, an absolute team player! There isn’t another Keagan out there! Great job 3!

🐐🔥 Weekend GOAT 🔥🐐

Congrats to Codie “Coco” Clary (2030 Boyd High) for earning the the GOAT player of the weekend at the Top Club National Super 32. Codie had another outstanding weekend at the plate and in the field, causing havoc at the plate and making some big plays in the field at big moments in the game. No game is too big for this one…she is confident and plays a little angry! On the weekend Codie hit for an average of .647 and had an on base percentage of .739. Codie was second in runs scored with 9, led the team with 6 walks, and struck out 1 time all weekend. Would like to recognize Ivy (Captain Underpants) Martinez (2029 THESA) as she has been setting the tone at the leadoff spot and really opening up a lot of options for Coco in the 2 hole. It’s a dangerous 1-2 punch! Great job on the weekend 23!

🥎🔥 Staff of the Weekend 🔥🥎

We must shine light onto our pitching staff for the weekend. These 3 stooges battled through 8 games, 37 innings, and 4 elimination games back to back. They never showed signs of fatigue and they all wanted the ball every game. They pitched for each other, picked each other up, and pushed each other to be the best version of themselves. The longer we went into the day, the stronger they got. Incredibly proud of their fight and bulldog mentality. You have to be a little nuts to be a pitcher and these 3 check that box! Bailey Young (2030 Boyd), Keagan Kakalecik (2030 Aledo), and Evelynn Olszta (2030 Boyd)….outstanding job all weekend! In front of every great pitching performance stands a catcher. Without our catchers our pitchers would not have the success they are having, so I want to acknowledge our catchers. Hana Wernet (2030 Timber Creek) and Kirra Wilkins (2029 Broken Bow). Great job all weekend ladies!

💣🔥 Bomb Squad alert 🔥💣

Congratulations to Evelynn Olszta (2030 Boyd), Kirra Wilkins (2029 Broken Bow), and Codie Clary (2030 Boyd) on their home runs this past weekend at the Top Club National Super 32 qualifier. Evelynn took advantage of an elevated fastball and deposited it into deep center, Kirra hit an absolute missile into the wind to deep left center, and Codie took advantage of a defensive misalignment and drove a line shot into right center and showed off her wheels for an inside the park homerun! Great job ladies, all of these hits came at very important times of the game!

She’s back! Straight out of the Dog Pound and onto the field in OKC, Briley Boyd (McKinney North 2029) wasted no time earning her the award of “Impact Player of the Weekend”. She was second on the team with a .467 batting average, a .529 on base %, and 4 RBI’s. In our first bracket game on Sunday Briley had a pinch hit, 2 run triple into left center which gave us a 5-1 lead over Epic National. Aside from any stats, this is our number 1 hype girl. She can be in left field, right field, or in the dugout and I promise you can hear her from the parking lot. She makes everyone around her better, she picks everyone up, and she is everyone’s best cheerleader. Welcome back to the team and great job 2!
